Where did you first heard about Bitcoins?

I first learned about bitcoin 2 years ago when I was looking for money on the Internet. At first I thought it was some sort of pyramid that could disintegrate, but then I decided to try it.

Yeah like what we all see in the internet makes us think that it's a scam. But bitcoin is different from the others, this is legit!
Well like you I first thought that this is another scam but things turn out differently, as time passes by I get to know more about bitcoin and that's all it started.

I heard about bitcoin in 2011 itself but did not show interest to buy it. I check bitcoin.org website in 2011 itself, but could not get any idea on mining process or any faucets idea from there. The only reason for that must be I was not aware of this wonderful forum at that time. I was too late to join this forum from that.

I just heard about this bitcoin thing just a few months ago. From one of my cousins and also from my brother. Back then I am not totally giving any care about it but yeah I am sad that I joined the bandwagon lately only.

way back two months ago i was busy using & surfing social media then suddenly one of my friends add me to a BITCOINS group in PH then it is the first introduction to me of bitcoins but not broadly then i search personally then i found other site using bitcoins and how to earn money on btc. that is my first encounter to btc & now hooked & love btc so much <3

On a site that offers a captcha work, I was looking online to earn some extra income and saw
an ad about Bitcoin, I'm not sure but it got my attention and search about it after searching
I was still sceptical about it, then I saw a faucet and tried it for a week and earned a dollar

almost everything I know about bitcoin in this site.

In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.

I heard it a few years ago but at the time it was worth a pizza so I did not pay much attention. Until now, I realized that its value is really too big for my imagination. If at that time, I invested in Bitcoin and hoarded it now I became a billionaire. The potential development of Bitcoin is endless so now invest in it is not too late for you to get rich.

I heard it back in 2011 where in there was a huge hype of mining Bitcoin using GPU's and there were numerous facebook groups where they posted they rigs and also had many tutorials for other to follow or even customize their rigs in order to work better.

Well, I heard it from my classmates a few months ago. Furthermore, my classmates already know what bitcoin is and they gain more money by using bitcoin. After, I heard that I decide to conduct a study about bitcoin because I want to know it well. Lastly, I and my classmates were very happy and we earn money together.

Where else? On the Internet, of course. There's just so few people in my place that are Internet and computer literate. Most people here make a living from jobs like farming, fishing, etc. From that alone, you can conclude that I live in a province. I think I'm the first one here in my area to ever discover bitcoins. The people that knows bitcoin here wouldn't know it if it wasn't for me. I taught a couple of people, then those people wanted to help too, so the word of mouth went on. I even see other bitcoin users on Facebook from my area that I don't really know personally. The exponential growth is fascinating.

I heard the word "bitcoin" in past few years in a Social Media site that said it is used to buy many illegal things in deep web so i thought it is an illegal. But few months ago I've heard that it is not illegal and anyone can used it. My friends teach me some information about bitcoin and i become interested about it. They earned some money by posting that help them for there daily expenses. So i become amazed that while you are facibg your mobile phone or any gadgets, while you are in the bed room or anywhere and while you are just typing your own thought about some certain topic you earning money, Isn't great?

My dad actually knew something about bitcoins and somehow shared it to me. Though I didn't find time to study it or do some research, since I'm too busy w/ something I couldn't remember. 2013 you know bitcoin and you just joined in this forum in 2016, it is a very long time bro. What is the reason that makes you not fast join in this forum? But this proves nothing is too late in some ways to be better.

And it's a good thing you opened your mind up to the prosepct of btc. A lot of people who've been so used to normal everyday transactions don't usually have interest and up until the time when btc price rose to more than 2k plus this year, i've been having a hard time introducing btc to friends.
