If they don't reinvest a great deal into this project, this thing is a total waste of time - this team needs to grow ALOT.
I absolutely, positively 101% agree. I bet Max and Olivier do, too. My biggest concern with this project remains that these two guys just completely took off on the XCR team (and highjacked their roadmap along the way) - this doesn't make me feel too secure about the idea that they love this project to the point that they would never leave again for another "open source project". I'm still skeptical that this team of two deserves SO MUCH credit when: 1) they didn't code much of XCR 2) all their hard work in XCR obviously didn't pay off
I have no idea what the true story is about what happened inside the Crypti team several weeks ago. I do know that lead Crypti dev Boris Povod has agreed to be an occasional Lisk consultant. It has been repeated multiple times by other top Crypti Foundation members that Lisk as a fork of Crypti now has their full support. Certainly there was a shock when Max and Olivier forked Crypti into Lisk, but I think saying those two "hijacked the Crypti roadmap along the way" is twisting the story a little yourself. Crypti still has the backing of a majority 62 million coins that have not been shifted over to Lisk, the continued primary loyalty of the original main lead code dev, a larger and more varied Crypti Foundation team than just "two guys", current presence on two exchanges and a fully up-and-running coin blockchain they have operated for almost two years and over 2 million blocks. Lisk has none of these things at the present time. Don't feel sorry for Crypti. You are welcome to go join Crypti in their journey forward if you wish to do so. If Crypti is strong, it can survive the departure of "only" two disloyal team members as the Crypti Foundation continues to execute its desired Crypti roadmap. I am pretty sure the official Feb 1 Crypti roadmap at the time of the Lisk fork did not include doing a second round of funding that would accumulate around a million dollars of new working capital by April 1. Go Max. Go Olivier. Keep on shaking it up.

Why do i need to remember public key? You don't, it's actually us who needs this information. The public key along with the associated balance is what will go into the genesis block at launch. The most important thing for you to record or remember, is your passphrase. Please bear in mind, the information shown on-screen is being generated within the browser, not on the server, and therefore only you can see it. Upon accepting your passphrase, we receive and store your public key and address, leaving you to store your passphrase for later accessing your funded account after launch. Hope that makes it clearer.

My questions arize after i copied text from modal window with passphrase, account number and public key (and safely saved all ) but was late and did not pressed save keys button before this modal somehow disappeared. I think such procedure is confusing and could be made more clear.

I have never seen an ICO where the core Dev blatantly says: "4% for me & 4% for my partner"
I agree, I usually don't see that either. Instead devs usually would use a pre-mine, instamine or ICO manipulation so they end up with much more of the coin (certainly more than 8%), which they then could do whatever they wanted to with. I find it weird how folks here thinks devs do things from the goodness of their hearts or don't plan to make money ... usually devs are sneaky how they go about it, and even greedier. The ICO funds are for development/hiring. Their own coin they can do whatever they want to with. Ideally it's just more of an incentive for them to raise the price of Lisk long-term.

This is exactly how I feel about everyone that suggests or even worse demands the 2 gentlemen that created LISK to pay themselves less or they should pay themselves when these individuals agree that Max and Oilver should get paid. If you don't trust them then why did you contribute into LISK ICO? Remember the terms of service? This is not an investment but it is a contribution to a project that may or may not succeed. Now if you didn't contribute to the LISK ICO let us who did deal with the potential ramifications. Honestly it is starting to sound like the individuals complaining or A: DIDN'T read the terms of service , B: have POOR reading comprehension when it pertains to contributing to financial development of software, or C: most likely didn't even contribute much bitcoins if any at all and are just upset that they are probably going to miss the the shuttle to the MOON! 8 percent for the two individuals is amazing low! Yes if LISK becomes valued at $1 US dollar they will have $8 million US dollars between the both of them. They deserve it because I will have profited about $45,000 US dollars in profit from a $600 US dollar contribution at my current LISK amount that I am expecting. Thanks MAX and OLIVER! I will owe you two gentlemen a drink or 2! PS. I hope we make it to $10 per LISK like Ethereum in the future! Millions of programmers all around the world understand JAVA!
