millfs,
wait for it to sync . sometimes it taking longer than others. (read back a few pages)
the wallet from the one works directly into the other (well it did when i did it anyhow)
so the exchange wallet, should directly send to the new one just fine.
(ofc do a test amount) then check back next day.
Thank you yes the actual windows wallet is now synced and working but none of my 7 out of the deposits to variuos wallets have not arrived and its been over 48 hours now almost 72 actually, I think there is an actually issue with my old dd wallet hence I hoping dev would reply too as I am trying to claim my wallet address and this is the address that the those 7 deposits have come from. I can see them clearly on the verge block chain but it seem the message system on there is not going through, assuming the messages go to him. Perhaps I should pm him? Sorry still pretty new to all this and clearly this mining business seems to be a fairly male dominated arena, I can imagine simular jokes about mining coins and women reversing cars obviously I am a women!! Thanks again why not just import the private keys? im not sure what the problem is that you're having.. if the deposits havent shown up, then either they didnt send or the place they were sent to isnt synced My wallet sync problem sorted itself as after some advice from another member but guessing you didnt see my first post regarding all my missing withdrawals from the old wallet and trying to claim my add darkdoge wallet address as I can see all the trans there and completed the online message but it didnt seem t be working and no one has come back to me regarding this.. SHall I pm you my old wallet address etc

I vaguely remember your post. So what was the advice that you got from "another member"? Seems your situation was pretty cut and dry.

Hey everyone....want an eye opener? Look at the first two pages of Bittrex Market (40 coins). Find me another coin with only the last two numbers in its valuation. (Less than .00000099) Umm, Dogecoin

There is too many coins out there It's because of the fact that every time we pass 30 sat, someone lays down a huge sell wall. Whoever it is, they will run out of coins eventually.

HOW MANY VERGE COINS ARE DISTRIBUTED INTO CIRCULATION DAILY FROM MINING? that depends on the difficulty. on average, 6 million. next having is in 76k blocks. also this will probably change drastically on the next release when we have more algos for miners

For next Wallet update, could you please consider implimenting 'kimoto gravity well algorithm' to regulate the diff please..
dont worry, we've got it all worked out now ;] Pardon the intrusion, but I just wanted to say that I have experience in the area and have some advice. First off, I wouldn't recommend trying writing multi-algo from scratch, because there are some serious pitfalls with non-trivial solutions. That being said, the leading options are Myriad and DigiByte. DigiByte's difficulty adjustment tends to produce wider difficulty swings, but ultimately is better at keeping the block times on target and giving each algo an equal share. It also provides superb multipool resilience. Myriad does a fine job as well, though there is an issue I identified with their "work decay" logic that I would recommend fixing if you go that route.

How many blocks are issued a 24hr period? Just trying to figure out how much time i have to load up on the coin before it explodes.

After the switch to MA... has there been any consideration to proof of service nodes? I am not sure if anyone could get behind the idea. I was wondering if users put up collateral, 100,000 minimum (about $13.50) (like Dash, for instance) to run TOR and i2P nodes, for the network. I am not sure if it would be economically viable, meaning users early on would be doing it at a loss, probably unless they ran them from home (might not be wise) a cheap or affordable VPS would be ideal... some listing on lowendbox might work.
What I am not sure of is how the reward would work for Verge. Ideally, it would not be more profitable than mining, naturally. I am also not sure where the reward would come from since some miners (please note I mine too just not on the scale of the big boys that seem to scrypt mine Verge, even after the switch to MA, I am only going to put two to four gpus on the network, whichever algo gets the best return that day for Verge) might not want to give up any part of their reward. And a new reward doled out would probably cause some great lecture on how this one guy hates, Satoshi himself, just rolled over in his grave or something along those lines.
That said, assuming the community does not implode, finger's crossed it does not, and a reward could be coded, easily... the issue would be how much then. I assume it would be portion of each block would be paid, to one node, each block, randomly generated of course. At fisrt I thought about a 1% reward but even with the block halving someone might complain that is a lot of coins... so maybe something like .0025% when viewed from this part of the block reward era 2,124,000 to 4,248,000: 730 ----Now, I am accounting for the 15 second block time as well as halving of the reward, which would be 365*.0025=0.9125.
Assuming we hit every block that would be around 88 Verge a day to have these nodes running (I assume that people would run them).... If we were a dollar coin, then, it would still be a cheap network, which offers anonymity.
