I was first aware of it in 2009. Forgot completely. Became dimly aware again in 2011. Did nothing. Got rolling properly in mid 2013. I feverishly read up on it for a couple of weeks. Looked up Gox, thought 'this is the NASDAQ of Bitcoin? Fuck that' and went to localbitcoins.

Almost all of the 'opportunities' and businesses looked like blatant scams to me and time proved it to be correct. I've learnt vast amounts of new stuff along the way.

Similar stuff. I found out about bitcoin in 2010, decided it was a neat idea but had no potential, and went on with my life. The late 2014/2015s roll around and I find myself realizing that the price is now in the hundreds. Definitely one of the things I regret the most, but I'm still happy that I got in the game relatively quickly.

Similar thing happened to me mate. While I started with Bitcoin in 2014, I realized that I was a little too late considering that the price were around the hundreds, but I quickly invested some money into it and now look at the price. It is nearly double than what I had invested when I first started. If I knew about Bitcoins in 2009-2010 I would have bought a bunch of them and today I would have been a millionaire. But anyways, better late than never.  Cheesy

Agreed with me gan, when I played bitcoin in the same year in 2014 and by that time I had invested some of the mine and I did not continue because I was busy with my work and just realized again that I heard From my friend a few months ago With a fantastic price, I intend to reinvest some of my work to buy bitcoin for a long time, better late than never because bitcoin is a very profitable investment for anyone who wants to invest in a long time.

Yeah. Even though we know bitcoin before but didn't played with it or never actually put investment we sometimes regretful of our decision. But its never too late though. I was happy I was able to go back into bitcoin and this time I put focus on it besides my other business. So now I'm enjoying both worlds because bitcoin really gave me opportunity as a additional cash flow on my business. I will continue to earn and invest through bitcoin because the potential is there for us. We just have to take advantage of the situation to make money out of it.

the lack of knowledge is my first experience when i started to bitcoin because it is hard to know where to start and what are the best thing to do to earn bitcoin it takes a lot of time and research to understand it. we all started to nothing but time pass and we can learn more and gain knowledge just be patient.
When I first started I googled Bitcoin, wallets and mining and it pointed me here, to the forum. I started reading and learned everything I needed to know within a day. In the next week I was already hooked and owned some coins.
It's not hard to learn about Bitcoin as there are multiple youtube videos for beginners and guides here on the forum, you just have to spend some time reading and watching.

I first started off with bitcoin faucets. I was looking for ways to earn money during my free time and I stumbled upon online articles about bitcoin. I had little knowledge on bitcoin back then, but I knew that I could generate income from it. I was too scared to try out mining or gambling sites so I tried out faucets and PTC ads click sites. The progress was really slow that I eventually gave up. Then, my friend introduced me to use bitcointalk.org

Hard to say, there was a content sharing site that would give satoshis for every like you get so I got a few from there, then bought a few as well. Probably the experience to share would be the lesson I learnt the hard way, invested in a cloud mining site, thought of increasing my bits with a solid investment, but after a couple of weeks, boom. The site went away with everything, so no more cloud mining.

To be honest my first experiences with Bitcoin was faucets! I used to be obsessed when I learned that I had made 5 satoshis for every click. Today, I laugh at my past with Bitcoin faucets. I am much more knowledgeable about Bitcoin now and rather than 5 satoshis I made around 0.1 Bitcoin for every trade I do.

I lost my focus the first time I used it. I thought it was difficult. I know I joined a lot of Bitcoin mining sites but I left one by one due to some complications. Yes, I find it complicated, but a friend readily explained to me about Bitcoins and introduced me to Bitcoin that is easy to work with. I joined under him and now it is one of my favorite online earning money making sites. I wish I have one right now though.

Although I already stumbled upon the word several times before, I never devoted a single minute to actually get to know it. It was only late 2015 when I got introduced to it properly. My workmates are into it, earning and trading in particular. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are more often than not ways to make some more money. It was here in bitcointalk.org that my rudimentary knowledge of this new technology was developed and honed. I am still in the process of learning some more though. Campaigns also provide me some other alts.

I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy

One of my friends told me about bitcoins in 2014, decided to start a bitcoin related website and bought my first bitcoins from Localbitcoins, but the site was not profitable, loss Then came to know about cloud mining sites, invested in PB mining and BCS, both turned out to be scams, loss. And at this point I realized I was doing something wrong. Back in 2014 there were hundreds of cloud mining, HYIP, and other ponzi sites, a newbie does not go through the scam accusations, it is just the profit that makes sense and that's what happened with me. After losing a substantial amount, I decided enough of investing and started spending time on this forum to understand the basics of bitcoin, trading, where not to invest.

My first experiences with bitcoin were a bit bad, but learned a lot from it.

At first we encounter a lot of problems but that was already expected, no one is perfect and most of us does not easily learn. What matters is we
learn from our mistakes and we continue our journey to enjoy our life with bitcoin, I learned a lot because I made a lot of mistakes and if did not regret the things that happened to me in the past because it made me realize that I need to take risk and it's part of growing up as a person.

Yes, Everyone started in this forum from the beginner until they reached the highest rank. When I first heard about bitcoin, I was confusing in many terms that I had read about the different thread posted in this forum. Then I said to myself that I need to take a lot of time to study about this. On first, I don't know where do I begin or where to start here. I'm just reading all the terms that I don't really know about bitcoin until I understand what is all about here.

When I start to work in bitcoin, I was not know How the people are earning and How bitcoin is running wend all. I have went with YouTube videos regarding bitcoin and its transactional method.
After I done Some works like signature campaign, some projects in bitcoin site making and etc. Then only I came to understand about bitcoin's ability.
All of us here in this forum don't really know about bitcoin when we started working on it. We are all thinking of many things on how to earn bitcoin and at the same time is the money. I was conscious when I heard about this because I think I really need also money to support myself on my studies. All of my efforts was done to earn money in this forum. I joined in signature campaign so that I can earn a lot of it.
