cgminer will actually connect to stratum with http:// or just a straight IP:port.  It's not part of the spec, but it makes sense that if getwork isn't detected it should try Stratum before giving up.

ecoinpool servers also make version one blocks
block.version=1 blocks will all be orphaned soon

This also means merged mining of Namecoin will cease

Please move to mining software that supports stratum or setup a stratum proxy to use mining software that does not support stratum

I applaud this smart, bold decision.  Is it safe to assume that any remaining NMC balances will be paid out per profile settings or would you like users to do something specific?

98% of users that merge mine autoconvert NMC to BTC, if anyone actually being paid out NMC is stuck under threshold I can sort that out if contacted

Why cant you keep the NMC balance? I have lots in there that i will withdraw next week. I need to to have my NMC client updated.

It would be a good idea to implement the x-stratum header on your getwork pool while it's still up to redirect people to the stratum server. cgminer doesn't care when the header is added - as soon as it detects it it will switch to the stratum pool if it's alive.

I know what you said, but what happened was my automatic payout didnt work one day. When i checked my acct the payout address is gone (i believe server had some issue and you fixed it)
My namecoind full node was hosted remotely and i didnt want to keep track of multiple wallets so... Fast forward, i had to shut down the node and saved my backup wallet. I need to import the wallet with a new namecoind client to receive payout. I plan to do it tmr evening. Do i have time?

the coins you earnt on dgm are still displayed as dgm earnings
Total Credit: in the sidebar shows the 2 added together and they are combined for payouts
a lot of miners like to see seperate dgm and pps earnings

DGM is Ozcoin's preferred payout method, If I were to stop a payout method it would be PPS.
We have a new front end for the site in development, rather get that in place than mess around too much with current site.
