40mh eth + 290mh lbry )) vega64 liquid

Beta Mining Drivers or 17.8.2?

On 17.8.2 I'm at 36 mh eth + 220mh lbc.

May have to switch back over and try the other drivers

17.8.2, clocks 1500/1080@1v, consumption is huge - 360watt
also can do 1340/1020@0.95v. 38.2eth+250lbry with 280-300watt

I don't understand why some of you run your core clock so high on Vega.

Vega FE will do 41Mh/s with a core clock of 852MHZ and 1100MHZ HBM2.  Since I need -cvddc set to 1000mV with the block chain drivers, I run a core clock of 1137MHZ, that gets me 42.1Mh/s.  Get over 1200 and Vega really starts to warm up.  With the FE pro beta drivers I could run -cvddc at 950.  I noticed that setting -cvddc too low will effect the HBM2 overclock.

Try to set 840 for example and tell us if it works, cause it looks like I had the same issue. I mean check wich card is showing you wrong voltage and set separatelyfor each card with comma, like: 840,870,870,870,870
--- Update: I've set 848 value only and it works for me, try to decrease the value. Also it look's like the problem with values setting is there and you need to restart the miner every time Fixed: too much undervolt

Done that, anything below 0.9v is ignored and 0.912 is used instead. I'll wait for more feedback on this.

Good luck! Have a nice hash

Hi! Thx Claymore a lot for a great free mining tool.
I'm super new to mining, dove into it a couple of days ago, cuz tried to sell my rx 470, and 8 out 10 potential buyers were miners. Got me somewhat interested.

Two days ago i got my card to make 27eth+810dcr mh/s . But now, with all the same settings and software, i can only push it to 23-24 mh/s.

Some dude posted almost the same symptoms: http://[Suspicious link removed]/p/1lu1wb9
I thought I'm quite great at googling stuff, but I can't find any info about this recent hashrate drop.
Pls, could anybody shed some light on the matter, is 9.9 release aiming to solve such problem? Huh

P.S. I am using stock config of 9.8. Also tried to add them setx lines for AMD from OP, no difference at all.

Welp, on some forum some dude told that he accidentally allowed AMD driver update and after that he had some problems, which even DDU couldn't fix.
I guess i got smth like that. So only thing that worked for me - was fresh Win10 install. Now i'm back to 27mh/s. Phew.

I'm on version 9.6, do I really have to update? I have RX bios modded cards with the beta mining drivers and beta afterburner, is there any improvement on newer claymore miner versions?

Last time I updated stability was an issue, so I rolled back to 9.6 and haven't checked this thread since now.

Having a lot of instability issues on my RX480 ref rig.  Rx580 rig is working great!  Might have to find a more stable vbios for RX480 ref cards..

Use OverdriveNTool - tool for AMD Polaris GPUs !
I have found how to bypass a bug of overestimate of a voltage on the first card
To reset settings the first card on default and then again to load and apply from a profile

So far so good with Claymore v.10.0

Dual mining ETH+DCR @ 29.6+880 Mh/s with RX 580 8GB  Nitro+ (Hynix) on Windows 10.

Modded BIOS, OC through Claymore @ 1150/2150 , 850mv/875mv @162w from the wall

So far I am only testing it on my PC with 1 gpu. If it remains stable tomorrow I will also update my rig of 8gpus (same ones) and let you know

Claymore v10.0 crashes time to time and hashrate varries with undervolt settings in .bat file. Im get back all to setup voltage with OverDrive Tool and works fine for me (12 days without crashes, and I have stable hashrate.)
I have 7xRX580 Saphire N+ LE rig.

I think you have pretty good rates with newest release of Claymore. Please keep us updated with results from more gpus. Possibly rx 480 will have better power usage.

No, I'm using OverdriveNTool for first setup and then Msi afterburner latest 16beta for fine tune clocks and voltage.
