Please, all that have a RX 480 8GB (Shappire Nitro + 8GB) can post the best values for "-dcri"? For now I set "-dcri 23" cause I think that when I increase it to 24, 25 or more Claymore seems unstable and sometimes my hashrate fluctuates. Many thanks in advance

for me -dcri 8 is the best

The dcri depends of the second coin. For DCR, I set -dcri 30

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

i posted this awhile ago.. did we ever find a reason or fix behind this error?

https://imgur.com/a/wLb39

I think that might be running two instances of claymore?  Check your processes you have running.

no i rebooted the system and only have one cmd prompt running.. it runs fine and then eventually (10 - 15 min) it gives me that error and has to restart the mining process. no o/c very basic setup. eventually the cmd locks the whole computer and i need to manually reboot. been dealing with this for a while now.

Hi there my rig with 8 cards keep crush after few minutes, max an hour

I guess the problem is this
Code:
01:00:00:743	163c	GPU 5: got incorrect temperature 511, ignore

What should I do

COMPONENTS:

ASROCK H110 PRO BTC+
6*RX 570 4GB NITRO +
2*RX 480 4GB NITRO +
Windows 10

One more question.

I prefere to use UBUNTU but I can't undervolt my rigs so I'm using Windows 10. Is there a way to undervolt via config file like in win?

Clymore : you are working a lot for AMD owners.
No problems, but I'm an nVidia owner (because expansive electricity in France).
Are you planing some update for us, for example with this dual-miner ?
Thanks ;-)

RX 580 +  win10 + blockhain driver 23 august + AB 18 + Claymore v10.0

if I add values in and use

-cclock
-mclock
-cvddc
-mvddc

which works and stable? or still voltage resetted ?

is overclocking and/or voltage working with 580's?

if works, is still needed afterburner?

"Supports latest AMD 4xx cards only in Windows."   ... and 580's?

Thank you for reply.  Kiss

-cclock 1158 - 1190
-mclock  2000 - 2250
-cvddc 850 - 900 mV
-mvddc 850 - 900 mV

Whatever values make your cards stable. No AB required.
Temperature control works too.

Is the ROCm kernel install still the goto fix for the DAG on Linux?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg21305411#msg21305411

I was able to go everything but get GRUB to show so i can choose the new Kernel. I have tried everything, even reinstalling GRUB from my USB live install stick. No key combo or editing the GRUB file seems to matter.

Is there a newer driver that I can install where I don't have to use GRUB to switch kernels?

Obviously, that's why video cards get expensive, because miners don’t slumber

Anyway, just trying to share with you guys.
I installed Windows 10 pro 64 bit, nvidia    385.69 version.
It runs for 40mins-2hours then the entire pc blue screen. I did overclock.
But i downgrade to 385.41, everything works fine in 22 hours now.
I am using gtx 1060 and 1070.

I am using claymore v9.8. but i guess the issue is with the latest driver instead.

Hopefully this can help anyone that faced the same issue.

The same problem. 6 1080 Ti. With EWBF miner, but the same problem with latest driver version (385.69). 385.41 works perfect.

Claymore's ZEC, Cryptonote miners ran amazingly well on Win10 but ETH was always crashing. I switched to Win7 and it's going great.

Win7 has some driver and 4+ GPU issues but solutions are already available. Good riddance Win10!

claymore ver. 10 with eth has a very dancing hashrate, goes up and down, 30mh / s goes down to 19/21 mhs, then goes back down, even though for 20 seconds + or - Tongue Tongue

Claymore
do you plan to make a miner for future BitcoinGold (BTG) since it will be GPU mineable?
