Thanks, Claymore! My 270X's are now mining without fee, 560's 2GB also.

Hi,

I'm new with Claymore. I have just set up a RX460 4 GB OC and configure it to work with Dwarfpool. Claymore detects the Graphic card and connects to the pool correctly. However, after a few seconds (in some cases a little more) I got the following message: job timeout disconnect retry in 20 seconds.

Any idea how to solve it?

The reply I gave on page 979 of this thread is what I used to solve this issue.

Thank you but unfortunatelly it is not the same problem. You couldn't connect to the pool while I do. The problem is that once connected, the job is timed out. It is a different problem

Yes, now the miner is completely free for 2GB cards.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I'm experimenting with the new algos in 11.0.
I tried this setup for the Verge (blake2s) on Antminepool:

Code:
-dpool stratum+tcp://s.antminepool.com:9008
-dwal <wallet address here>
-dcoin blake2s
-dcri 17
-dpsw x

Perhaps, I'm doing something wrong, as I get an "Authorization failed" in the miner:

Code:
 B2S: Authorization failed
: (null)
Socket was closed remotely (by pool)
B2S: Job timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

Update: worked well with another wallet address. Hmm...
Note to others: dcri value in the above example should be updated, in my case (rx480) a dcri of about 45-50 seem to have very little influence on ETH mining.

An RX580 gives the same amount of hash on Blake2S as my whole 6 card GTX 1060 rig. Am I doing something wrong?

Nvidia Cards are not that efficient on such algos (Blake2s, etc) as Radeon's are - there is nothing you can do except buying them :-)

BLAKE2S:
-dcri 50 with no drop on ETH
RX 470 = 1300MH/s
RX 480 = 1450MH/s

So it should be possible to mine Verge in Dual Mode with Blake2s (there are 3 pools for it) without any drop in eth-mining, correct?

Does the dual mode heat up the cards more or stress them much, so the cards can break down at some point earlier? :-)

someone cn post bat file?

Right... so how to I enable compute mode in the driver when I haven't got AMD Settings installed?... Sad

When i install the drivers, AMD application is there..

https://i.imgur.com/jMuPlF7.png

It's in Radeo Settings, Global settings, then "Compute" instead of "Graphic".

"-dpsw XVG-blake2s" on zpool is wrong

Read all the instructions on the homepage, specifically the part about c=<SYMBOL>

You want "-dpsw c=XVG"

How to configure this to mine Verge on a pool with username / pass instead of wallet address on miner config?

I was mining Verge on http://xvg-mg.idcray.com with sgminer and config was something like "stratum+tcp://sg-mine.idcray.com:10061 -u username.worker -p password".

Thanks.

Edit: Fixed the error.

I've seen a good amount of reports on bitcointalk that zpool steals 15-20% of payout due to their exchange rates/fees, which they apply regardless of whether you exchange.  Unfortunately zpool completely dominates the total network hashrate for XVG blake2s for pools.  Does anyone have any recommendations on other blake2s pools for verge?

With the b2s dual, you guys need to be careful with your psu's they might explode. The current is definitely going up.

How to configure this to mine Verge on a pool with username / pass instead of wallet address on miner config?

I was mining Verge on http://xvg-mg.idcray.com with sgminer and config was something like "stratum+tcp://sg-mine.idcray.com:10061 -u username.worker -p password".

Thanks.

Nevermind, that is a Myriad-Groestl Algo Pool. Didn't remember that.

"-dpsw XVG-blake2s" on zpool is wrong

Read all the instructions on the homepage, specifically the part about c=<SYMBOL>

You want "-dpsw c=XVG"

Hi,

I already fixed it.
But thank you anyway Smiley

Regards,
Nestade

That means c=XVG that you will receive xvg right? so if i want to receive btc it should be c=BTC ? thanks

I just configured it to antminepool.com, and it's working great.

Using -dcri 12,13,16 with RX 480/570/580 and it gives ~87.2 MH/s on ETH and 1185 MH/s on B2S.

Power consumption increased around 30W on the wall for the whole system vs ETH solo. Much less that ETH+SIA I did before...

Great job, Claymore.

Mr claymore, your linux miner on both google drive and mega, is an older miner and not the 11.0 one.
