I would consider accepting bitcoin as a salary. The only problem is that all my bills have to be paid with fiat so I would have to convert. Also, I don't know of any businesses or restaurants in my area that accept bitcoin.
That is bad news dude well i guess most of us do have the same situation. So we just keep on hoping and waiting until we will be able to pay directly to bitcoin without taxes how good the world will be. bad news? how so? it's normal that the adoption of bitcoin by merchants and employers is moving forwards very slowly. we have to deal with this as a normal thing, and not as being a problem. i am sure at some point it will change. have some patience. Yes in future we will find many merchants who will start accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment and we are moving slowly towards it and scenario will change in future for sure. Hopefully this will happen in the soonest time. Im worry that bitcoin may become unpopular one day and failed to the field of merchant adoption in local area. We all know bitcoin needs internet and most local merchant don't have access to internet. Especially in supermarket or small convinient stores. This thing sir for me would only happens if so we are going to be less active in this industry. We should not stop promoting how good bitcoin is to encourage more users and more investors and miners to work for bitcoin industry. |

I will never expect my salary in bitcoins as I cannot spend it anywhere and if I have to spend then I need to convert it to fiat first, so I will prefer to have my salary only in fiat.

I think that I would accept bitcoin as part of my salary. Bitcoin has many advantages, it's also in demand now. And you can save the bitcoins in your wallet, that means no need to go to banks.

As of now, I dont want to accept bitcoin as a salary for my Job in real word or outside of this cyberworld. I have many reason why i dont want it. My reason is What if my salary send bitcoin at high price of bitcoin and the bitcoin price will dump so my salary is not exact at the amount so i need to wait it? But if the price of bitcoin will be stable like other currency i will accept it.
Its difficult to imagine price stability in bitcoins, and that is the reason people will not prefer to accept the salary in bitcoins as you will never get fixed and stable income from it. |

For now but you can be still exchange bitcoin in to fiat instantly.. just like here in my country we can exchange bitcoin instantly so there is no worry to receive bitcoin as salary.. unlike other countries i think there still not have a good site are giving good benefits that you can withdraw your bitcoin instantly to your banks.. Exactly and you will need to convert the bitcoins into fiat for daily spending . If you have shops near your house that accepts bitcoins for example I want to have a coffee then also I have to use fiat so well, currently its not possible but I think n near future we all might be using bitcoins as a salary or part or salary. I will accept bitcoin as my salary too, it's better I think than just fiat money since it has high value from time to time so it's very suitable as savings and there's no obstacle to us for convert bitcoin into fiat money in my country or even another country because the exchangers already exist worldwide to facilitate exchange to local currency. Furthermore, there are a lot of online stores that accepted bitcoin as payment that you can shopping spree there. |

Otherwise, employees would still prefer the cash as their salary. And also make sure that everytime your bitcoin salary will turn to cash it should be free. |

Neither price will be stable nor you would be able to convert it for free, you need to pay transaction cost to the trader, as of now its not free in my country and I am not aware about the scenarios in other countries. |

yes i will accept my salary in bitcoin because bitcoin is very useful in everywhere corner of the wold and we can buy any product through bitcoin with easily and with fastest transaction .
Well, that would help a lot when you spend regularly online, but I doubts others would follow that kind of mentality of yours, I think they are more concern on the value of their money rather than the opportunity to transact online, there problem is the price fluctuation which makes the value of their salary also fluctuate. And how will you spend it friend ? Its good to know that you are ready to accept bitcoins as payment but the biggest problem for people like me is that we cannot use the bitcoins at any stores or shops located near my house. Apart from online I can't think of place where i can use bitcoins and thats the problem  |

Exactly, that is the biggest problem with bitcoin as you never know what price it will hold in future so if we start accepting salary in bitcoins and if price drops then it will also reduce our monthly income. and if price goes up you are the big winner. and as most of the user here expect the price to go up this should be a good chance. also why not agree on a fix dollar salary and adjust the bitcoin amount every payout? this is not hard to realize. |

As long as I have some form of insurance against the fluctuations of the value of Bitcoin, I would gladly take all of my salary in Bitcoin. If I don't have any form of insurance, I would still take a portion of my salary in Bitcoin, but it would be substantially less than what I would if I had some insurance. Maybe 10-15% would be something I'm comfortable with, but I have no idea.

Could be. If that future will stabilize the price. That is the most important thing when working for money right? A stable income. Is bitcoin stable? No, it moves more than US dollar. If $ can make a wave in its price then bitcoin can create a larger one. Its number is limited so it can be manipulatred by a person who is owning a lot of it. |

I do have to agree with you, however, if you are paying with things with bitcoin, then why would you not mind getting paid in bitcoin. yes some days you will make money if you compare it to the USD or another currency and come days you will loose, but you have to think of it this way; the USD raised by $3 in value today (an example), so did you hurry and convert your bitcoin to USD do tomorrow you can convert it back to make more money?? No one does because it is not worth the time. Bitcoin does change a lot, but it is becoming more stable and thus would be a good way to receive your pay. |
