No and I don't think this would be a good idea for yourself why would you accept that if you could just convert whatever you have to bitcoin anyways. Bitcoin is very unstable and could risk your salary why not receive in USD or EUR and convert however much you want to bitcoin? this is more freedom and more choice then being forced upon btc.

Difficult question but I would have to say no on that reason being that I have alot to pay in my life which can not be paid currently by bitcoin.
This would need to me swap back my bitcoin everytime to fiat which requires a fee and loses me money so receving fiat instead of bitcoin would save me more.

Yeah, same answer for me. Right now as you can see, even if many companies are starting to use bitcoins as their payment method. There are still many things that you cannot buy thru bitcoins per se. So I don't think it would be a great idea to accept bitcoins as payment. Another thing I am seeing as disadvantage is the fluctuation of its market price. What if, the time of your salary the price of the bitcoin is pump but it sudden drops. Means that you are not getting your real salary and it is deducted because of the sudden drop of its price. But, it can also be an advantage if we are going to inverse the situation.

Well, if you have multiple sources of income, I guess it would be alright to have one salary be accepted in bitcoin, just for the 'adventuruous' feeling of either going up or down in value, and have all the other salary/ies be paid in cash. I would prefer though that my higher salary be paid in cash and the lower salary in bitcoin.

In the current scenario, my answer probably would be no, because of the price instability, which in some cases could cause a significant reduction in the salary. But I believe I would change my mind if things improve in the future.

Well if you don't really mind the constant price changes at all, it wouldn't matter to you really. As for me, I would gladly accept it as a salary since I only need $200 to live off for a month and I wouldn't mind if the rest stays as bitcoin.

I would have no problem in accepting a part of my salary in bitcoin, but I think would not be a good idea to have the full salary only in btc.

I am not sure about it, in my country bitcoins is not so popular, but if we are talking about working online, it's fine, cause i'm always can exchange everything.

That is what I'm thinking too, if more people are going to use bitcoins here in my country then I will going to accept bitcoin as salary willingly. But it is really risky as of now as there are only few web sites in my country that do accepts bitcoin and there is no physical store that do accepts bitcoin so it is going to be risky for me.
Yeah its risky because of the unstable price you cant expect to get your money in exact amount, it might increase but it can also decrease as well. so i still prefer my salary in fiat, easy to spend especially when there is an urgent thing come up.

Well that's correct as if we receive salary in bitcoins and if price falls then we need to keep on waiting for higher price so that we can convert our coins to fiat and that will be irritating at the time of emergencies.

Yes precisely.  As bitcoin if exchange into fiat currency there would have a fee for that so you will not be able to get the whole part of your salary.  Another thing is I do not know any of stores in our country that accepts bitcoin as payment.  Only bills for utilities and credit card, and loans.

Accepting bitcoin as salary is so risky in my opinion. By doing that you risk losing percentages over night of your money. You could rather accept part of it or just convert part of it yourself if you want bitcoin that badly. I think accepting it as salary is too ambitious.

But I don't think that companies will prefer to pay part of your salary in bitcoins, and at a moment we cannot use those coins directly anywhere so it will never benefit us to accept salary in bitcoins.

I will accept bitcoin as my salary depending on when I have to say yes. At this moment I would not accept it because bitcoin is not stable enough. If you ask me again in 5 years then yes maybe but maybe not I would have to see. My problem is it has to be stable else I can lose my salary.
Yes thats the main issue accepting bitcoin as a salary that the price of bitcoin is not stable,it changes even every hour so what we are earning will change when we get paid weekly or monthly so it would become really very difficult to manage or money and expenses because the amount in fiat will be different every time we get paid.

Yeah and its not a smart decision to accept salary in bitcoins at a moment as price keeps on moving up and down which will never give us steady and stable income which can affect our financial plans.

I wouldn't, since, in my country, it's more convenient to be paid in fiat. Not that many shops accept bitcoin here in Australia, so I'd have to convert it back into fiat and pay some commision fees. Moreover, the price of bitcoin can fluctuate and I don't want my salary to drop if the price of bitcoin drops.
If bitcoin becomes mroe stable and more known in the future, I'll consider getting paid in bitcoin.

Yes we can go for it in future if we see higher and stable price of bitcoin, but till then its better to continue with fiat as it gives us an ease and convenience to spend it anywhere we want.

Yes, its not a smart decision to accept salary in bitcoins as price is too volatile and we cannot afford to take any risk when it comes to our income as it may go very low if price drops.
