In 2 weeks etc will get same eth price. Just watch

Probably not.  However it doesn't really matter, as long as both are healthy.

Most people have missed the big dynamic that is changing here.... It is the relationship between BTC and the Alts : Alts being led by Etherium.

The continuation of ETC alongside ETH has led to more trade and a greater distribution of coins from both chains. The total price of ETH+ETC vs BTC is the thing to watch.

Maybe ... See my comments above. The two chains are actually stronger together: Who knew that ?

...unless of course you believe the whole project is doomed in the long term.

Vitalik? No way... No one likes him. Besides, I doubt he planned it. Unfortunately ETHf and the foundation are now stained. They took a wrong decision and they broke the very fundament of the blockchain concept: TRUST & IMMUTABILITY. I believe Ethereum is a revolutionary concept but mismanaged by a band of inadequate peoples.

You never know people.  VB is a clever guy, it's just that the wrong people got there teeth into him.  They paid him to drop out of Uni, go check.  He should not be in a position of decision making. decision making should be done by voting. Your%hashrate = your%vote.

Anyhow, in need to sleep and eat and look after my cats.  It will still be here when I wake no doubt.  It's all in that video.

Be bussy people.  Keep mining and come up with ideas.  It's your coin too.  See ya soon

Warm wishes

Vitalik?

Like one of the videos that Greenuser shared it really was a no win situation.  If they stayed with Classic and not forked it would have exposed large investors to what was surely incompetence in the code review for the DAO.  If they let the hack stand then they damage their reputation with the investment community.  If they fork they damage their reputation in the crypto community.  I believe many if not most people in crypto's believe in the immutability of the blockchain and that we should let the market decide.

I know there are lots of people that don't want to stand for the injustice of letting someone get away with stealing a lot of ETH(now ETC).  However this centrally managed mess will only get far more messy the more they try to interfere.  I think over time these people would concede they should have just paid the price up front and let the theft stand when they compare where the HF route takes them vs the actual damage that was done by the hacker.

So I understand why they made the choice they did, and I don't know they would change anything because they are focused on the investors and businesses they have been trying to nurture relationships with.  However none of that is going to sit well with the crypto community where this all lives and breaths on a daily basis.

But to think that VB planned this... No, I don't see that they planned this, however they could make an about face on some of the decisions and try to save it.  However some of the comments and things we have seen from the ETH insiders really makes me question if we really want them working on ETC.  We have seen some of peoples true natures here and they really probably should not be in the positions they are given some of what we have seen.

So what happens next?  I think like was posted here earlier we should focus this thread more on announcements and getting people to the right places.  Lots of people asking questions how they can join the community.  Lots of questions about what the plans and roadmap are.  They want assurances that ETC is going to step in and fill that role that was originally sold about Ethereum and the Dapp's.  People want to know there is a future for this and not just some flash in the pan sort of thing from a pump and dump.  So progress reports, announcments, and updates to the OP so that people know exactly where to go and what is going on.

So I doubt that VB planned any of this, but they certainly could do an about face given the amount of interest there is in Ethereum either prefork or post fork.  But every statement I have read the forked group insists that ETC has to fork.  I don't think they have got a "forking clue" yet why the purists are not going to go for that unless it is purely for code fixes etc, and not to touch the blockchain.

I see that your account is dedicated to FUD around in here. I'm just wondering, is someone paying you (hopefully good considering the time you spend here) or did you sell at 225 and now you are mad?

Do we know who's part of the dev team yet? Is there a dev list out there. I've heard Charles Hoskinson might be on-board. Any other commitments?
