So quick question: This miner says that I'm mining at 192 H/s. However NiceHash is reporting 140 SOLS/s. My question is does 192 H/s translate to 140 SOLS/s, or should NiceHash be reporting what the miner's saying which, again, is 192 H/s?

The only reason anyone gives a shit is because they think not having a stable windows miner would earn them more profit.
This. Tons of posts about how "greedy" Claymore made a stable miner for Windows. Now mining is more open to the masses, so it's more fair, and mining is less headache. People claim this miner is the cause of price drop. But they don't realize it has been dropping since release, price was way to high due to scarcity, now it is just correcting for higher miner reward, and as time goes on more coins get mined, even without slow start. I think all the posts are just greedy people themselves, that don't want to share any profit. Even with price drop, it is still more profitable than any other coin. Ethereum is good to mine now also if people don't want to mine this coin that only has 3.5 month ROI. 2 week ROI was totally unsustainable.

After much testing. The most ideal speed is at 1070/1375. Going any higher frequency on the memory results in no speed changes. Same with going to the previous or next memory strap. I think my limitation is this CRAPPY Sempron single core processor because I was able to go above 50Sol/s in an i3 rig. For any 7950 7970 7990 280x with H5GQ2H24AFR MEMORY you can use this 40 9C 00 00 33 31 33 20 00 00 00 00 84 94 22 10 F0 54 09 06 0F 0B A2 01 00 23 80 00 22 AA 1C 00 12 01 14 20 8A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 06 05 0B 0C 11 0C 10 0D 80 38 01 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 E7 AC 35 20 50 55 0B 0D 1A 97 34 03 00 24 81 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 06 14 20 9A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0C 08 15 19 21 18 1B 11 A0 86 01 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 29 31 46 24 50 55 0C 0D 1C 18 A5 03 00 26 A1 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 07 14 20 9A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0D 0A 18 1B 25 19 1D 11 1C 19 02 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 29 B5 46 27 50 55 0C 0D 1E 99 05 04 00 26 A2 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 08 14 20 AA 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0E 0A 1A 1E 28 1A 1F 11 78 5D 02 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 6B BD 57 2D 60 55 0D 0E 22 9C 96 04 00 28 C3 00 22 BB 1C 00 53 0A 14 20 BA 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 10 0C 1E 22 2E 1D 23 12 10 98 02 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 8C C5 48 2F 60 55 0F 0F 25 1E 17 05 00 48 C4 00 22 CC 1C 00 5C 0B 14 20 4A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 12 0D 20 25 32 1F 26 13 30 E6 02 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 AD CD 49 2F 70 55 0F 10 29 21 98 05 00 4A E5 00 22 EE 1C 00 64 0D 14 20 5A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 14 0E 24 2A 38 22 2A 14 40 0D 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 CE 51 4A 2F 70 55 10 10 2B A2 18 06 00 4A E6 00 22 00 9D 00 64 0E 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 15 0F 27 2D 3C 23 2C 14 50 34 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 10 5A 5B 32 80 55 11 11 2E A5 99 06 00 4C 06 01 22 11 9D 00 6C 0F 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 17 11 2B 31 42 26 2F 15 60 5B 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 31 62 5C 34 80 55 11 11 30 A7 1A 07 00 4C 06 01 22 22 9D 00 6C 0F 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 19 12 2F 36 48 28 31 15
Here are some benchmarks Only 1 I left stock the rest are modded. Try it and let me know what speed you guys get. Maybe with an i7 you can get 60Sol/s on a 280x. EDIT: Now they are all running at 50Sol/s. I think the way Claymore calculates speed isn't accurate sometimes.

I mine for profit but I don't just dump. I currently have 37 Eth coins takes me 3 days to make a coin so I been sitting on them for a while. I mine for a profit but also hold for a profit. To many miners with mine and dump mentality and does not even care what they sell for. These type of people could never be a successful business man as they would put themselves out of business under selling everyone else where they don't make a profit. Guess we can be glad these idiots don't run business or they would put others out of business before they collapsed themselves. Only in mining have I seen such horrible business mentality from so many they don't even consider it a business and just out to make a profit and destroy the coin in general as they have no interest in currency. This ruins it for everyone.

All this talk about price drop is irrelevant at this point. Do you really believe it would maintain above Bitcoin? It's supply and demand. I get tired of hearing short term speculations. How about all those die-hard souls who mined Btc from the start, where are they now? It took a couple years and that's only because it was the first and unknown at the time.
Claymore, hope all is well and thanks for your candidness of the situation. Looking forward to more optimization to get us closer to your original goal.
I sold all my r9 280x's, 290x's months ago but I'm sure efficiency will run the game looking forward. Are rx470's, 480's still the way to go for efficiency? Restocking my rigs in the coming weeks. (Much rather run a rig at 700w instead of 1100w).

Where to mine zcash classic i cant find a pool not even the coin.. Thanks you in advanced

can someone please help me
I was getting 33sols before using other program
I switched to claymors and started getting less because I had really new drivers
so I downgraded to the right driver (brand new GPUS)
I had some issues getting my PC to recognise my gpus
however now its up and running
1gpu gets 40 solds and the other gpu is only getting 10 sols... whats happening?
i then switched it to etc to see if it made a difference
an now i have 1gpu hashing at 25mhs and 1 gpu hashing at 4mhs
why the hell is one of my cards going super slow
its temp is 55 and fan of 14% (looks to mee like its not working)
if anyone can help me i would be forever grateful

Hi Claymore,
Do you intend to have a "-ethi 16" equivalent for your zec miner?
My 390s are running at full speed but since its has 8Gb Vram, I am sure you can push this miner to squeeze the last bits of that 8GB.
Perhaps a switch to do turbo mode?
Thanks
Claymore's miner currently uses less than 1GB per card, so he'd have to make some fundamental change for it to require over 4GB and therefore make your 8GB card "more useful".

So quick question: This miner says that I'm mining at 192 H/s. However NiceHash is reporting 140 SOLS/s. My question is does 192 H/s translate to 140 SOLS/s, or should NiceHash be reporting what the miner's saying which, again, is 192 H/s?
Miner H/s is the same what Nicehash names as Sols/s. Thing is that current hashrate can fluctuate. Make sure to check the average speed on nicehash.

For any 7950 7970 7990 280x with H5GQ2H24AFR MEMORY you can use this 40 9C 00 00 33 31 33 20 00 00 00 00 84 94 22 10 F0 54 09 06 0F 0B A2 01 00 23 80 00 22 AA 1C 00 12 01 14 20 8A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 06 05 0B 0C 11 0C 10 0D 80 38 01 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 E7 AC 35 20 50 55 0B 0D 1A 97 34 03 00 24 81 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 06 14 20 9A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0C 08 15 19 21 18 1B 11 A0 86 01 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 29 31 46 24 50 55 0C 0D 1C 18 A5 03 00 26 A1 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 07 14 20 9A 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0D 0A 18 1B 25 19 1D 11 1C 19 02 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 29 B5 46 27 50 55 0C 0D 1E 99 05 04 00 26 A2 00 22 AA 1C 00 4B 08 14 20 AA 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 0E 0A 1A 1E 28 1A 1F 11 78 5D 02 00 55 51 33 20 00 00 00 00 6B BD 57 2D 60 55 0D 0E 22 9C 96 04 00 28 C3 00 22 BB 1C 00 53 0A 14 20 BA 88 00 A0 00 00 01 20 10 0C 1E 22 2E 1D 23 12 10 98 02 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 8C C5 48 2F 60 55 0F 0F 25 1E 17 05 00 48 C4 00 22 CC 1C 00 5C 0B 14 20 4A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 12 0D 20 25 32 1F 26 13 30 E6 02 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 AD CD 49 2F 70 55 0F 10 29 21 98 05 00 4A E5 00 22 EE 1C 00 64 0D 14 20 5A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 14 0E 24 2A 38 22 2A 14 40 0D 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 CE 51 4A 2F 70 55 10 10 2B A2 18 06 00 4A E6 00 22 00 9D 00 64 0E 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 15 0F 27 2D 3C 23 2C 14 50 34 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 10 5A 5B 32 80 55 11 11 2E A5 99 06 00 4C 06 01 22 11 9D 00 6C 0F 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 17 11 2B 31 42 26 2F 15 60 5B 03 00 77 71 33 20 00 00 00 00 31 62 5C 34 80 55 11 11 30 A7 1A 07 00 4C 06 01 22 22 9D 00 6C 0F 14 20 6A 89 00 A0 00 00 01 20 19 12 2F 36 48 28 31 15 Here are some benchmarks Only 1 I left stock the rest are modded. Try it and let me know what speed you guys get. Maybe with an i7 you can get 60Sol/s on a 280x. EDIT: Now they are all running at 50Sol/s. I think the way Claymore calculates speed isn't accurate sometimes. It seems the Calymore ZCash miners use very little CPU. So why would that affect the CPU so much?
No idea but its a crappy old $5 CPU, so it affects the mining speed in some way. I'll put the GPU in another i3 and see what speeds I get.

So quick question: This miner says that I'm mining at 192 H/s. However NiceHash is reporting 140 SOLS/s. My question is does 192 H/s translate to 140 SOLS/s, or should NiceHash be reporting what the miner's saying which, again, is 192 H/s?
difficulty changes & FEES ! when it's mining devfee it kinda stops mining for you hence the drop, it should go up again after dev gets the fees.

This is why I mine to NiceHash. I am selling HASHES, not mining and selling coins ZEC. I must take my money as soon as possible in order to buy more hardware and pay for electricity and Internet. Very slow buildup over TIME. Some of us do not have much money!!! But you are selling hashes to others who likely will sell the ZEC anyway...... Anyways, I have been holding all the ETH I mine also, looking long term. I also held my mined BTC/LTC for a long time back in 2012-2013 (I started when LTC was $0.01), and profited a lot in the end. The issue with doing this with ZEC is that the price is currently unsustainable with slow start increasing, and with high profitability, if you don't sell, someone else probably will. Who knows what ZEC price will be in a year from now. I will start holding more when price stabalizes some more. It is starting to stabilize, probably will be more stable after slow start.

Very slow buildup over TIME. Some of us do not have much money!!! I'm in exactly the same situation, having to mine with my home PC so need to make money asap to pay the electricity etc hence why I use Nicehash. I'm on a relatively poor income of approx £5200 a year BEFORE bills etc so cant afford to hold on to mined coins, i need to sell what I make there and then at the best price I can get at the time. Now Nicehash may not be the most efficient way to make money as the price they pay is less than you would make to actually mine and sell yourself but at least its a certain income with no luck involved. All these moaning about people selling with no regards to the price etc obviously are not in a position like mine or the users I quoted where we cant afford to hold and have to sell. Plus have you thought about what these pools are making? Nicehash posted on facebook the other day they had 20% of the ZEC hashrate. How much do you think they are making and either hoarding or selling?

Remember that slow start will stop at block 20000 with a reward of 10. We are currently at block 5720, which means price could still drop by a factor of 3-4.

so I downgraded to the right driver (brand new GPUS)
I had some issues getting my PC to recognise my gpus

1gpu gets 40 solds and the other gpu is only getting 10 sols... whats happening?
i then switched it to etc to see if it made a difference
an now i have 1gpu hashing at 25mhs and 1 gpu hashing at 4mhs
why the hell is one of my cards going super slow
its temp is 55 and fan of 14% (looks to mee like its not working)
if anyone can help me i would be forever grateful
