I changed the bios of my 7990. There is no noticeable difference for the ZCash mining. Maybe the memory is already good enough. My rate is around 42 H/s with 1020/1125. No diff at 1250. You need to use 1500 or 1600Mhz memory freq. can someone look at this rom? http://www.filedropper.com/tahitigpu1am really no idea what numbers to look for in my hex ed. |

Seems like modifying the memory straps results in the same increase and doesn't use more CPU usage or power.
Ill post my ROMs when I am done optimizing them.

Long time lurker  I've been running into a ton of stability issues. I switched back to stock roms on my 290s and 480s are running with 1750>2000 straps. All stock clocks. 2x r9 290 4g 2x r9 290x 4g 2x rx 480 nitro+ 8g 2x psu totaling 1750w Miner crashes after about an hour. Windows 10 with 1.1 -- Testing 2.0 now. Any advice? Tried messing with clocks. Too soon to tell results. Any good way to troubleshoot win10 crashes? Nothing in event log. Thanks! |

About 7% faster on my RX-470 8GBs (sapphire, modded bios). CPU usage is higher, but not bad, my slow 2 core APU can handle it fine.

My r280x seems to be a little faster. CPU usage is normal (low). I'll test the RX480 tomorrow - have to go to sleep first. Good night.
