I am pretty sure if was 2-3 weeks from the time Bitfury resellers received chips to the time the first orders went out.

But IIRC that was 6 weeks or so after bitfury received its first chips. Did those resellers all do their own chip testing and qualification, board design, firmware, etc? You have to look at the complete cycle.

I'm grateful for his work but his attitude is total shit.

meeh, sadly I must agree with you at this point.

I concur.

Indeed, he'd never hold down a dev role IRL with an attitude as such...

Can't help but chime in and agree.

Wait, Josh (SCAMMER), Yufi (SCAMMER), Knc (don't know yet) and who is the other guy?
It must be some kind of conspiracy.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

I am pretty sure if was 2-3 weeks from the time Bitfury resellers received chips to the time the first orders went out.

That was the main Bitfury's idea. Just as planned, some device (PCB) developers have failed, some succeeded. This is the disadvantage of single development process.

Nah, they're happy.  They protected the network for themselves for most of 2013.  Now that the diff is rising thru the roof they decided to finally ship (slowly).  But they'll continue to tell you they are the only ones adding to the network and that when they started shipping wouldn't have mattered anyway...of course.

Josh continues to claim he never got the orders he put in before joining BFL.  If that were the case, you'd think he wouldn't look so happy.  Nobody knows what is going on, but I'd be pissed if I still didn't have my 6 FPGA rigs upgraded yet.  Money is moving and exchanging hands somehow behind the scenes beyond employee base pay...

i would keep them if i`d get some kind of refund (as the october ones come in discounted)
October ones are discounted? Only discounted ones I know of don't ship tell after November 15th,

http://www.coindesk.com/kncminer-offers-free-speed-increase-first-bitcoin-miner-shipments/

Sam Cole, co-founder of KnCMiner, said the fabrication process of the chips has been completed and they are now on their way to an assembly house in Asia, before being shipped to KnCMiner’s offices in Sweden in around six days’ time

The more important bit of info from this is that, as believed by some of us here to begin with, KNC is having folks physically transport the chips during these transits, in order to bypass customs delays.

I'm sure someone will come up with new fears now. "These folks will take the chips and run!!!"

Multiple couriers and paths.  Chips cannot be used anywhere else.

i meant the October orders are sold with a DISCOUNT that they could apply to the pre-orders as well
