Personally, I am thinking I will take my business elsewhere next round as a matter of principle.  They are just handing business over to their competitors with their childish silent treatment.
You do that. In the meantime learn some patience. The last company who was not silent most of the time was BFL. Also, 3 days since the last announcement and it is fucking Sunday. Give me a break man.

Yeah, patience worked out great for BFL customers.  Great idea.

EDIT:  Why would the day of the week matter?  Are you seriously suggesting that they are off today?  If they are, that's even more reason not to do business with them.  1 day before 890 orders are supposed to be delivered to their customer's doors, no proof of a working miner and they take the day off?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Recording daily noon network hashrate, 9/27 topped 1,324,213Gh/s then dropped back yesterday and today is 1,272,428.  Could that 9/27 peak have been KnC?

Was wondering this myself... I don't recall the URL, but isn't there a site where you can see mining activity by geographic location?

Daily hash rate is random.
There is a reason why the diff change is 2016 blocks ...

The variation of the network hashrate is not proportional correlated to addition or subtraction of hash generation devices to the Bitcoin network. In other words, the peak you observed could come from devices already working in the network and not from devices added before the peak. Moreover, there is no evidence which indicates that KnCminer had produced any "miner" yet.

Who said they took a day off? I am pretty sure that most of them aren't. But who the heck has time to post fucking status updates on a Sunday and with so much work to do? Do you rather have your miner earlier or some freaking update where it says: "hey, I could be tuning or software or optimize the volatge to get more out of your miner, but I like to post updates where I say I would do it more than actually doing it!"?

The important point is: They have 20-30 employees (at this stage maybe more). To post a twitter message: "Everything is OK.Chips here. Shipping starts tuesday." You need exactly 29.5 seconds. I dont get it why they choose to stay silent. Especially since they did announcements like this last week.

I think along those same lines.

With the future of bitcoin hardware going next day shipping. I expect that these projects should reward early adopters when delays occur.

I have a day 1 order in the #200's.

per talking to who ever it was I spoke to trying to get a refund so I can pay more to this fucking tax I owe, they said it would be 1-2 weeks that I would have it, and I could not reject it either beucause it was a business purchase and does not fall under the 14 day law/rule

Just knowing that you'll be helping secure the network is all the reward you should need.  And are likely to get Smiley

With the coming competition between manufacturers for next day hardware shipping. That is expected to be the norm by october/november 2013. The need to give further incentive will become apparent if you wish to have your project funded with pre-order sales.

Another angle to consider is that newbie miners entering the fray will be discouraged from moving existing investments into this high risk segment unless they have adequate incentive over traditional investment options.

Hence why I post reminders to those new to Bitcoin about the importance to diversify a portfolio and attempt to avoid putting to much into one investment vehicle.

I'm fine, KNC promised me to deliver my miner until end of September and because they never lie and they have funny slogans like "We Under Promise, We Over Deliver" or "margin upon margin upon ....", I'm going to enjoy last day without my asic miner.)

ohh, I almost forgot - where are members of KNC fanclub now?.)) Why they stopped bitching and attacking everybody with different (non super naive) attitude? I miss you guys, back to work!

they are on the plane now. They are so excited to have their miner today.
