I'm lurking around waiting for some feedback on the v1.10 upgrade...

I tried it out last night and it didn't work so well for me.

At first it ran fine, but after a couple hours one of the cubes stopped mining, and bfgminer kept reporting "die configuration failed" for that cube.  Upon restarting bfgminer it didn't even detect that cube at all.  After a full power-off-then-on-again it started working again.

I thought that maybe it was just a fluke so I let it run overnight, but this morning it was doing the same thing, this time with a different cube.

So it's back to 1.05 for me.

Just did the exact same thing to me. v1.10 is borked. Back to 1.05 here too.

First try System --> Reset to factory settings, then enter your pool info again and see if it detects all the cubes.

That's what I had to do.

Any news re our bonus Neptunes?

I've heard nothing so far, though the promised Y-cables showed up the other day completely out of the blue. No message or warning.

I guess we just wait and cross our fingers and pray for Santa to bring little cube presents...
I got my Y-cables the other day too... just 5 though, enough for one Neptune. I would have had more confidence if they would have sent 10, 5 for my Neptune and 5 for my soon-to-be-arriving bonus Neptune.

Maybe the bonus Neptune will include Y-cables.

Maybe they have a few more Datorhalls to fill before they ship the bonus Neptunes...

Let's make sure they don't forget about the bonus Neptunes that they promised!

Note: I'll be sticking with my Y-cables from bitcointalk user Cablez, they are solid quality and are working just fine.

Run a Bitcoin node, support the network.

Had the same problem. Try the factor reset and cables unfortunately my  2 cubes were just DOA so they have to be RMA, so no choice if you cannot get it to come to live

v1.10 is borked for fast block time coins and probably p2pool. Just tested solo mining VIA.

Seems ok for solo mining LTC using nomp. R:% is still settling. This is on a machine @325 with 1 dead die -->

Are you listening KnC? You do remember the sales description includes the phrase "all scrypt applications"? Entirely absent, however, was the phrase, "Except fast block time coins and . . . "

Try paying attention to this phrase, KnC, "Essential breach of contract".

Thanks for this post was gonna upgrade to v 1.10 but if I can only do the www.ghash.io LTC/Dodge pool anyway ..my motivation kinda wained

right now (I have 3 cubes that seem to be 'OVERCOMPENSATING' from their KNC parents and hashing well beyond what they should be
and with 1 cube with 1 DIE off...got 308gh yesterday on www.ghash.io so i'm kinda shocked.... an another die same cube with intermittent voltage problems
to boot it should not be doing this well....

..so heck...it is a frigging miracle
with 1 die dorked and the other die on that same cube dropping voltage I'm getting these hash rates imho

(have not looked into such could probably play power down tweaks etc...but would prefer to do that if/when
I got v 1.10 up and stable ..on crisis at a time or will add dead cubes power down issues to this miner.

...was waiting to upgrade to 1.10 etc but kinda seeing the horror stories on what you said above and the need to reflash
SD cards ..now you saying a cube is down....I'll wait..either for folks to have a fix/walk thru or whatever it is not like
with no refund KNC has any urge to act quickly imho

we have a major snowstorm coming...if the power goes done MAYBE I will play with cubes some on restart....(sad have to wait for an
act of nature to have a power off on the miner ....due to issues with firmware on power up and down)

but no idea why it is hashing that high with 1 die down and 1 die flaky .....yesterday the ave was 308mh ..wtf go with the flow...

so will instead FLASH the 2 Sandisk 8gb class 10's I was able to find at best buy for $12.99 the last 2..wallmart/target/etc zippo none but 50 buck
32gb off brands...so lucked out there always plenty to do for prepping the Titan ("hey I"m a doomsday KNC asic prepper should get a TV show)

figure it is just a matter of time till I get a reboot and see the "bright white light that never goes off" beam of miner trying to morph to brick and at
that point ..may as well have some SD cards ready to go...should that be the case....

still think working with these Titans is like trying to juggle 'hummingbirds'

on and yesterday in a public post (see www.kncminer.com forums) Keith (tech support staff) said that multipools work just fine with v1.05
so yeah.......much double speak in KNC land...posted the day before 1.10 annoucement

and for all of us who thought we were buying a state of the art 'ALT COIN MINER' so sorry everyone....it is now a half assed kinda sorta works
LITECOIN miner...but too bad....KNC says... no refunds.....don't let the door hit you in the ass as leave the building

hope the guys doing the litigation/lawyers/class action and such are keeping notes on these threads

anyway suggest everyone make a SD copy of 1.05 and 1.10 on some SD cards....just in case when/if it goes dorky or you feel it is kinda safe
to upgrade I plan on yanking the card out on the upgrade in case i have to go backwards and just flash a new card...

again thanks for above post ..will sit on hands a bit longer (never a bad policy if the miner is running in some manner beyond your expectations.....low
thou they may be..)  see what develops on fixes by customers or work rounds the rest of the weekend

check the KNC forums...but power 2 cubes on with 1 power supply first then the other 1 working cube each PSU maybe?

they will tell you to re seat the power plugs if you contact knc tech always say that

if you have 2 750w power supplies likely it is NOT enough to work...or so some have said try 2 with a bigger PSU's i've heard

others on here will have more advice all that comes to mind

also what dif to put a titan

on www.ghash.io LTC/Dodge pool I was told 8192 in worker area

but

the Titan always seems to start from 0 and moves up its own way ...took it a day to get to 4192 for example

1st hour you will show lots of stale shares and low diff mining ....slowly over time calms down

The titan survived v1.10 overnight without losing a cube like it did after a couple of hours yesterday.

Here are stats solo mining LTC via nomp and a local litecoind, @325 on a machine with 1 dead die:

What is the last thing at night and the first thing in the morning I do now ?  =>  check the cables for any sign of overheating.

Reject rates for 1.10 are lower than 1.05, which IIRC varied around 4-5% in the same application.
Unfortunately until KNC gets fast block time coins and p2pool mining under control, it doesn't look they have met their promise of shipping a miner suitable for 'any scrypt application'.

What is the last thing at night and the first thing in the morning I do now ?  =>  check the cables for any sign of overheating.

Reject rates for 1.10 are lower than 1.05, which IIRC varied around 4-5% in the same application.
Unfortunately until KNC gets fast block time coins and p2pool mining under control, it doesn't look they have met their promise of shipping a miner suitable for 'any scrypt application'.

mines running at 303gh to 308gh according to ghash.io LTC/Dodge pool....bought the unit to be an 'alt coin miner' jokes on me it only does LTC kinda/sorta

as for upgrading to 1.10 I can't figure out how it is managing to get over 300mh in that I have 1 die OFF and the die next to it on asic #3 as well with voltage
fluctuations.....from 39 to 5 ...so the other cubes imho have to be taking up more slack then they should in some manner...above and beyond average ...so go
with the luck I have with that I guess

so I'll wait....anything over 300mh with these Titan units is a frigging miracle it seems to me...and (correct me if I'm wrong) for MAYBE getting it up another say 20mh or so
or the risk of bricking it..by upgrading to 1.10 now.....I'll wait till some universal praise on the next upgrade hopefully (hey a guy can dream) then the odds will improve

by the by Ghash.io  LTC/Dodge pool question..

I put as recommended 8192 in difficulty for ghash.io LTC/dodge spot on the worker page (an edit) ...it never really seemed to do anything ..but never hurt anything
either it seems on any power up/down/etc the advance page shows diff starting from 0 so it has not managed to crash in 2 days so ....now...on the advanced
page the Titan kinda blasted past 8192 to now at 8507....should I REMOVE the difficulty on that worker spot on ghash.io  back to 0 ?

...or do others see this also with their miners ?

just want to make sure this is  a 'non-issue' don't want to leave 8192 in there if it limits something something
...but so far ...the input of such seems to make no difference  at all

assuming the above is correct ..anyone higher then 8507 on ghash.io ltc/dodge ..if so how high have people gotten?

well ...saturday ...will make me some backup SD cards with 1.05 and 1.10 firmware just in case....(good to have goals) for if/when or next upgrade
I try yet again in the thrilling saga week to week....'will he brick his titan" tm

anyway ...boring is good......i'll go with that hopefully some further tweaks will come to firmware this week (hey again a guy can dream....)

Nice multi-posting, impressive to see searing still doesn't know how to conduct himself in public after only YEARS of having it spoonfed.
