@EWBF_: hi, updated yesterday my NVidia GeForce Game Ready Driver to Ver. 378.92. Mining with 0.3.2 now brings only 245 sols against 290-300 sols before the update. The good thing is temperature is steady betwenn 50-55 degree, much healthier for the hardware. Tested mining also with other coins, e.g. XRE with ccminer. 8500 kH/s before update, now 6800 kH/s. Maybe some others here make the same experience and it can be considered in further versions.

Which version you used before?

I'm update driver on win 10 to this version and do not see any changes.

@EWBF : how's that --pec option supposed to work ? i don't see any power efficiency infos in the console nor the log.

Hello, tell me how to get the API data? Use the --api and in the browser trying to go to ip:port, but in return get nothing.

Use a raw tcp request like so

Code:
echo "{\"id\":1, \"method\":\"getstat\"}\n" | nc 127.0.0.1 4444

you will get a json that you can parse for infos

example for getting total hashrate

Code:
echo "{\"id\":1, \"method\":\"getstat\"}\n" | nc 127.0.0.1 4444 |jq "." |grep -i speed_sps |sed 's/[^0-9]*//g'|awk '{s+=$1} END {print s}'

What speed are people getting with a 1080 gtx ?

getting 493 to 634 just depends on how much $$ on power I want to spend and how hot I want to run them

currently doing 551 running at 68c
hello
question
how much do you do at minimum target power limit? the lowest that you can go ??
thanks!
indkt

I limit temp to 69c using MSI, after 5 minutes (from a cold start) my power is stable at 49%

How do you get 634? the highest I could get was 560! I have asus rog 1080

are you oc'ing?

using MSI

core  +125
mem  +850 to +950

It uses a lot of power and does a lot of heat... If you are going to run this all the time I would set fans to 100% to try and keep up

personally the gains do not out way the costs's of the 500.00 card going poof.

using MSI  set temp to 68c or 69c

with the above settings, and you'll use 50% less power than full OC, card stays in green level temp, and it'll last longer.

my good deed for the day is done

@EWBF : how's that --pec option supposed to work ? i don't see any power efficiency infos in the console nor the log.

This parameter prints small textual table into console together with speed statistics.

You need to use the parameter --pec --fee 15

here is my starting bat

Code:

Can you show the command line?

In this case it will print zeros.

Well i rebooted the rig, and now it show the table, odd, maybe there was a lock somewhere that got cleared up, working now great !

Would it be possible to add a total average of the sols/w ? that would be interesting Smiley

Hello I write through the translator so don't be offended help solve the problem http://i042.radikal.ru/1703/25/ed81d290e7f3t.jpg
 Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

That isn't a flypool address, I don't see a twallet address and why do you have pause in your config?
flay the pool is working but I mostly ru.minergate.com there is ' mail goes . put the pause because when you start then closes and can not see the reason for the closure . at startup I see that the miner Kingdom on the pool but what gives on screen help to overcome the problem EWBF can podskazhesh what to do sorry for English

Input full email, for example:
miner --server zec.pool.minergate.com --user username@mail.ru --pass x --port 3357

Yes. 0.3.3b almost ready to release. I think tuesday or wednesday, because i need properly test it.

More speed?

Unfortunately not. Maybe you next Smiley on this way.
Hello EWBF, fantastic job of yours! thanks!.
I am making money thanks to you, and you are making money thanks to guys like me, so...perfect symbiosis  Grin

what features are you making for next version?

i am still using 030b because i noticed (at least in the pool i use) that version 032b says more hash locally but less on the pool Shocked

i use minimum TPL on my cards.
plz comment on that when you can
thanks!
indkt.

I test miner on different pools flypool, nanopool on time frame >24 hours and speed are correct. So i think it depends on how the pool calculate hashrate.
About features i promised to add option --fee and this is main reason for release this version, in addition i was add power efficiency calculator which will show performance per watt.

I have the full address Packed it on the screen and it erased so as not to Shine it

I'm hoping not too many people do no fee where you can't really reach the level of compensation needed to continue doing your work. Better yet, I am hoping the lack of fee income from the miner doesn't drive you towards developing a super fast private miner for the mega farm whales to eclipse us small time miners now

Personally I would have just reduced the miner fee from 2% to 1%

I haven't been a big user of the miner mainly because I use NiceHash to sell the hashes and I can't get EWBF to run on NH

I am running a 1080 on the new release and I put --pec in the bat. MSI reads no higher than 90% TDP which should be 162w but the first 4 power readings in the miner gave me 224, 216, 204, and 218w. Is that really how much the card is pulling in excluding the PSU efficiency?

I'd like to know how to set the temperature limit in the miner. The help.txt does not give these new settings in there

I concur, the 2% you charge/ that I will continue to give you is nothing compared to how much it was cost me to build my own mining software and is less than what nice hash charges.

Question EWBF, if I give you 5% dev fee  Shocked will it go 20% faster hashrate?   Roll Eyes

If I have not said it before, thank you for what you do and the enhancements you provide.

Works fine by me.
Here is my Ubuntu commandline:
Code:
# NiceHash EU v0.3.3b
~/zcash-cuda-EWBF/miner_v0.3.3b --server equihash.eu.nicehash.com --port 3357 --user 3BJTNtNj4C5tjXdfy4gGySEUtYLt2grupu --pass xxx --solver 3 3
