i am feel little shameful for being a gambler, i think its like we need to do with secret without anyone else have to know what we do, fortunately i don't to often to playing gambling and no one my family member asked me for what i am do while i am in front of my pc.

Be matured before you play gambling, it's not good to hide to your family what you are doing if you feel you are not doing bad. There is actually nothing to be ashamed of because we are just doing it as part of our entertainment. Don't take gambling seriously, and never make this be part of your daily activities in life as it will not bring good results to you if you cannot handle the stressful situation anymore.

I admit that in my religion they are not condoning gambling and it is being discouraged but they have reason for it. Because that will lead us into being self-centered and all the time we are going to think about money, if we gamble we have a chance of earning high profit very fast. But we have our own beliefs that as long as we are not hurting other people's feeling. And I am not ashamed that I was a gambler as long as I don't step on other people's personality and feeling.

No, I am not, there is no reason to feel ashamed when you are a gambler. Atleast you are honest to them by not keeping it as a secret. It will be more shameful if you are keeping it and telling them that you are not a gambler and one day they caught you. For sure it will affect the relationship between you and those people that you speak with and telling them a lie about your self.

I am not a shame of my gambling habits because some of my wins i gave it to my family but they don't really know how did i get that much income in the first place they thought that my job is one hell of a rich company because when i win gambling i gave my winnings to my mom only my mom because i trust her with the spending in the house and my but is cheap so i don't really give him big amount but they always tell me that do you play gambling? so i said "NO" because they are not a fan of gambling its just they thought its a sin because your playing money and money is not for playing its for hard work then i really got a shame of my gambling habits so i am shame and not proud of it but i intend to quit someday if i have a lot of money in my wallet

I do not feel ashamed to say I am a gambler! Because I do not lose tons of money in gambling. I just gamble what I can afford to lose. I only gamble for entertainment and usually I just lose around less than 0.01BTC in one sitting. I also rarely do gamble like once or twice a month so I don't lose much. I usually also get back my 0.01BTC or half of it at least.

well i don't think there's anything to be ashamed of when you're a gambler. i mean it's a hobby for most and if you know how to handle yourself and your gambling methods then gambling is pretty harmless and is fun. although i understand how some people may think that it's embarrassing to let others know especially if they are investing a lot of time and money in it but hey, it's the same for me as having other hobbies that would take time and money as well like for example collecting items, or travelling, or going on parties and the likes. it's just important to make sure that you know how to handle yourself when gambling and that your family and personal life doesn't get affected and if you can do that then there's nothing to be ashamed about.

Yeah, you have a point, most of the countries are not allowed gambling, they government has announced that gambling is illegal, but instead of it, a huge number of people are playing it, like me. I am truly speak in my country gambling is consider a bad thing, and also i avoid it to play in casino, but i play it only on online. I understand this. I am not ashamed to be a gambler, but other people who don't understand and against gambling make you feel bad even if you are not ashamed. But if you don't mind criticism then that's fine too. I wouldn't worry about stranger's opinion, but if it's from family and friends that is a problem. They might think you have an addiction even if you only gamble so little and only for fun.

May be in some cultures and countries gambling is considered as bad thing, because gambling addiction can make a person to loss all he have in very short period of time.

I think many gamblers belong to wealthy family rather than poor, casinos are made for rich guys and you even can't enter in few casinos without proper suit.

Many gamblers try to hide their gambling addiction because if they expose themselves none of their friends or relatives gonna trust him with their money if he ask with them in future.

I consider gambling addiction as a bad thing rather than gambling, gambling can be good entertainment.

As with everything, gamble with moderation. I don't give a f what culture say about it. If you want to play to entertain yourself, go ahead so long as you don't impoverish yourself in the process.

IMHO gamble for fun but find other ways of earning money. There are professional gamblers out there but they are not using their own money to play so they don't take a hard hit if they lose.

Of course not. Gambling for me is something i do in my past time and if i have a few money to spare. I don' t see anything to be ashamed of with that. Gambling is already considered as bad thing and illegal thing for to our leaders and root of our families we are just being greed and desperate with money that's why we are playing gambling. Im proud that im a gambler i will not hide that even my families telling me to stop coz it will wreck my life at the end.

i think all the people have the same situation, but some people pretend that they do not fell any shame while playing gambling, while the fact is that everyone fell the sham as no one like himself to be disclose in the people as gambler.
