It is a shameful being a gambler if you are not responsible person for playing gambling. It is indeed shameful if you are doing illegal activities, crimes to have money in return of luxuries. Once I become gambler and I realized Im become addicted to it, but thankful now I comeup those things.

It is true that you need to be responsible for every decisions you made when you are playing gambling others said it is bad to play gambling wvwn you are uaing your own money it is a sin but yes you had the point there better to gamble than to do illegal activities you can conteol your self i know those words of yours makes you more responsible person

Definitely not.  Why would I be shameful when I have done nothing wrong.  I am spending my own money and I am not ignoring the family needs and supply them sufficiently.  Aside from that I believe gambling is just a recreational activity and not a sin where we offend or hurt someone.  So as long as I am doing fine and does not affect around me negatively I will never be shameful even if I am a gambler.

There's no need to be shameful if you are doing it the right way. And if you are using your own money to gamble then instead of being shameful you should be proud of it. Because you don't need to ask your parents or friends just to give you money for your own purpose which is gambling. You are right, you don't have to be affected and there's no need to be shameful of if you are just doing fine.

It should never ever be used as a way to make money, that is just a crazy thinking most newbies have. Gambling can never get you a steady income and you'll just likely be bankrupt in a few days you are gambling and people who think this way will soon realize their mistakes. I don't know why there are people who are shameful for being a gambler. Maybe their addiction is really that too much and it came to the point that they are doing those things that they must not do. But with me, I don't feel to be shameful for it because I am not doing those type of activity to steal and scam people because I gamble with my own money.

Being shameful will only happen if we do illegal things when doing gambling, but if not, then it should be something we can be proud of as it's entertaining for us and that is our main intention why we are doing it. Those people who said it should be a shameful activity, for sure they have not tried gambling yet, they must try to know how entertaining it is.

Being ashamed about gambling is like saying you are using money that is not from you are just like what sparkedev said. That is the only time that we should feel bad about our betting. Another thing that could make you feel ashamed about gambling is when you are already a burden to your family.

I had to just comment on your post because I kind of see where you are coming from. I like to gamble online with Bitcoin as well though I do not feel that bad when I gamble nor do I feel proud about it either. Since the whole thing about gambling to me is just so I could have a little bit of fun it really is not an issue for me to second guess if I am doing the wrong thing.
If I lose money in gambling, I just accept it and move on.

The feeling of being proud will only come out when we do win.Im sure most of us do feel the same way on playing gambling because once we won on a certain game,we are really proud of that and it boost up our confidence which makes us more careless on playing and resulting to lose and thats the cycle on playing gambling. Gambling is not illegal for some countries and it is not wrong, if you are gambling and you are not responsible for it, you are the one that is doing something wrong in gambling. And that's the time that you should feel ashamed. It is just natural for people to dream to become a millionaire in an instant or even just win a small amount of money just to get out of debt and poverty. I know some countries will count it as a sin because they see gambling as greed to which they think that you are not satisfied to everything you have. As in the bible says at the 7 deadly sins greed is one of them so thats why they see gambling as a seen but if you don't let your greed take over you and just play for fun I would say thats not a sin. For me I'm not  shameful but also I'm not a proud gambler I'm more like a neutral side it is not shameful because gambling is just a game like any other and not really proud because sometimes gambling can make you greedy so its like 50/50% percent.

Of course no I don't consider gambling as a bad thing because gamble is just for fun and I think its not bad to entertain yourself. And why would I be shameful? I didn't do anything wrong, gambling is not sin nor crime either as long as you didn't not abuse it or addicted to it. However, in our community gambling is considerable as a bad thing so you should be careful.

Even in society or in a country where gambling is forbidden, there are cases when a person completely begins to depend on gambling and becomes a drug addict. Of course, if a person played a couple of dollars in his pleasure, then there is nothing terrible, and when he drops a whole state, this is already a problem.

You can't judge the whole generation just because you saw a couple of kids gambling using their parents' money. I mean, all kids come with different shapes and sizes. They also come with different traits. Everyone's unique. The kids that you saw aren't a representation of the whole group. There are still kids doing good things in life.

It is really disturbing to hear these type of news nowadays and it is getting more and more day by day. Kids these days wont care much about parents or their money, well most of them wont. Gambling may not be a sin but it depends on your situation and financial stability of you and your family, there are better things for your money to be used than on gambling.
