No, not really since it's no-ones business and I tend to keep it pretty private. Also, I think that a lot of people around me also gamble from time to time, by playing the state lottery and buying scratchers sometimes.

I do agree that there is a bit more of a negative perspective surrounding gambling in a casino, whether is it offline or online.

Well that's the thing. You keep it private. That means you don't want others to know about it. Because of the negative perspective? Would you feel shameful if others found out?

Well it's pretty normal nowadays and a lot of people are gambling in the open so i don't think there's a need to be ashamed. It's even televised at times like professional poker games. Nothings wrong with it and why would people care anyways if you're a gambler or not. People have become a lot more open minded these times with topics such as gambling so you can openly say that you gamble at times without being embarassed

Being open minded is a proof that you are already matured in gambling, and being matured will not make you ashamed in gambling, besides the money you are using is your own money so you all have the right to enjoy whatever you have without considering what people will say against you.

Being a gambler is a most interesting activity and I never feel shameful about it. My family and friends sometimes criticize me because of gambling too much. However, as long as I know how to control my money and manager my bankroll, I never lose money . And to me, gambling is a entertainment which is created for people to satisfy and make them happier.

Because, it is common talking that many countries are banned gambling and also consider that gambling is illegal way of earning, that 's why many gamblers do gambling with silently. But if i am talking about myself than no doubt i feel shame on it, so i always play on online gambling, because it suit me.

That's true but society (which usually makes us feel shameful) makes no differences. They just don't care why you gamble. Only thing that matters to them is that you gamble.

I guess there is also some point in discussing situations when gambling is banned in a particular place. For example you live in a country where gambling is banned but you still do gamble through online casinos like fortune jack or other bitcoin gambling sites. Will you feel ashamed when you do gamble especially when it is banned in your country or religion but you still gamble anyway? I guess this is a point we can also discuss.

In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?

No I don't feel shameful. I used to play poker and pay college with it, and every time I said that to some of my friends they would definitely show a strange expression, like thinking I'm addicted and don't know that I was doing, but I never really cared. Not all of them were like that. I guess some didn't understand which is normal, so it was there problem not mine really, so no reason to be shameful or hide it.

Yes, we are gambling our own money and there is no one who can stop us from spending our money the way we want, though as I see from some replies that people are ashamed to tell their family. Actually they just need to tell their family lightly that they play games online to relax their mood, that's it no need to tell hem that you gamble, gambling is similar to gambling.

Yes, we are gambling our own money and there is no one who can stop us from spending our money the way we want, though as I see from some replies that people are ashamed to tell their family. Actually they just need to tell their family lightly that they play games online to relax their mood, that's it no need to tell hem that you gamble, gambling is similar to gambling.

Even we gamble with our own money but in some countries, gambling is a bad habit and can lead to whoever did it get a less favorable treatment. That's why some people try to hide his gambling actions from everyone near him.

Actually I am a bit ashamed that I gamble because I never can tell my family about this hobby of mine and if I tell them their viewpoint towards me would change, no matter how hard I work in office my children would think that I have been lucky on the day and hence they are eating food.

Well, I think that the only time I would feel ashamed of gambling is if I failed to report my winnings to the IRS for tax purposes (something I would never do, of course), but in my mind, there's no other reason I would be ashamed of myself for gambling and there is certainly no reason why I would hide my participation in the activity.  However, I do believe in financial privacy, so keeping my financial transactions confidential to everybody else, accept the IRS (of course), is something regularly practice.

Actually you have overcame from that shame part, I mean the shame usually is that we do not tell our family and friends but you have told them and even have been criticized too. So apart from that nothing can make you feel bad for your gambling habit, its the surroundings of a person which makes him feel bad or good about his actions.

Im not so proud to be part of bitcoin and to gamble here anonymously and i am happy to part of this project.. that honsetly are giving more benefits as just a gamblers i never feel to be shameful..
