Do you feel shameful for being a gambler?

i dont feel shameful, i just gamble occasionally and i always gamble with my own spare money, and whenever i gamble i always gamble responsibly and i never created any trouble because of my gambling activity, so i think i dont need to feel bad because i gamble

I done this gambling occasionally but still feeling shameful and never talk openly with friends and family because most of them not like them but I started few months ago silently mostly done on my computer never done practically around my place

I just gamble silently because i just want to be anonymous but never feel that to be shameful.
Im not so proud to be part of bitcoin and to gamble here anonymously and i am happy to part of this project.. that honsetly are giving more benefits as just a gamblers i never feel to be shameful..

Why not you play it as you play other games. In my country gambling is not legal and consider it as a sin, therefore I like to play it anonymously because people do not look to gamblers with honor.

In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consider gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?

Shameful for what? Gambling is not wrong it's just a passion there's nothing wrong in it. Yes many countries do not like people who bet but it's nothing wrong, what's wrong in gambling it's your own money and you should have full right to bet or double bet, no need to be ashamed by it. I say just gamble wisely don't overdo and only play with extra money not your regular.

I think this is why bitcoin gambling has really propagated the past years. Anonymity has been a really great trait for people who are shy or ashamed of admitting they are gambling. Bitcoin gambling sites gave these people a chance to gamble without being judged as why they gamble. We all gamble for a reason and it does not include a reason to be judged by others.

Well yeah right and i think it is human nature but for me i just gamble without hearing from other people maybe here in forum if there is soem tips or any comment that can help to improve in gambling or to prevent losing sometimes i just follow it.. not hearing the judgement by people.

Yes it is your choice and no one is going to say that it is embarrassing to be a gambler. The only thing that a gambler be shameful is when he don't know how to settle things first before he gamble. Just like putting the priority of taking care of his responsibilities and duty as a husband/student/employee.

No i will not be ashamed of doing gambling because the money i use when i gamble is coming from my hardwork which is my stable job and doesn't came from stealing or illegal money. Even if i gamble online, addiction to it doesn't affect me because i know how to manage well on my investments and i use bitcoin digital currency so that i can bet with small amounts and have fun. If you have done illegal money making thats the time you will be ashamed of and not the money that came from good source.

Because in gambling no one questions where the money comes from. So people who get money from illegal methods just deposits the dirty money into gambling sites then they just withdraw it form the site and declare it as winnings. Hence laundering the dirty money. These are the people who should be ashamed to be gambling. Because they are not really gambling but laundering money.

I want to tell you my story, I was a good student in college and had much more potential than what I always did in my life then I was introduced to gambling by a friend of mine and my life has become a disaster mate.

I am very shameful and rather regretful for my gambling habit cause it made a bright student into a average earner and a poor guy in the society.

It's true, if I'm playing with my money, the money I earned and I want to use to have fun, there isn't shame on it. I would feel shameful if I would be using the money of another one to gamble without pay him back in case I lost the money. Some people try to criminalize gambling, but no reason to do it. Gambling can help economy a lot, if the country is honest, this money can revert good improvements for the country.

That's a total shame for him, why? Because since he said that he isn't a proud gambler look at what his doing. Being a gambler would be a shameful thing if you were in a place where gambling is illegal or not good and you share your gambler status to others and make people know that you're a gambler. And indeed it is normal that you be embarrassed if others knew you were a gambler places where gambling is illegal. Unless you're a person who has no shame, there would be no matter what happens.
