I am shameful if I lose bigger amounts of money and somebody see that then I fcking hate that but when I gamble on internet only I can see that and I am not shameful.

Same here, it is really shameful if you lose lot of money from gambling, especially someone you know or close to you sees it all. Gambling sites or casinos really changed all that. But the thing about gambling is it will really make you regret that you are even gambling, so better avoid it or make it a entertainment or pass time activity.

Losing money is normal experience to us gambler, if we fell ashamed on it then we will have to end our journey in gambling so we will not lose anymore. I guess it's more on the fun that matters, and we will eventually lose due to the fact that we do not have the odds in favor to us so the best action to do to remain gambling is just to limit bets and control ourselves.

And losing is part of the destiny.  Therefore losing side is when your is on a badluck.  And not take it back of the goodluck because of your mood in not sufficient to win in the game therefore you are on the losing side.

The only shameful thing in gambling is playing with the money that has been allocated to other house hold budget.  It is a shame to see people lost their money that is a budget for food.  Reminds me of some elder person who play poker with his neighbor and lost all the money for their family's food.  So the kids and that guy spend their night without eating anything because of this guy's irresponsible gambling.

This is very irresponsible. That's why I step aside money for gambling only. I put priorities where needed, like food, shelter and other expenses before money for gambling. If everything else is already allocated and there no money for gambling. Then I don't gamble. But if something is left then I go gamble. If I win then great I have extra money in my pocket. If not, then its ok because everything is already allocated I don't need to worry when I go home a looser.

It's not a nice thing to use somebody else's money and use it for your own pleasure. You should have respect and the right amount of attitude and character if you are a good person. Prioritize on what your using the money for especially the necessities.

This is an interesting question. Yes, like what you said, gambling is a had habit in some countries ora maybe the whole world labeled a gambler is not enviable. Back to the history of a gambler (all people that doing gambling), all of them in the first time they do gambling just for fun, to kill bored time. Most of them continue to a lucky seeker.

Yes when the gambler is being responsible enough about his duties like caring about his family, I believe there will be no need to worry for being into gambling or no need to feel shameful for being a gambler. Because gambling is not a robbery nor any social ill. But when gamblers start forgetting about their responsibilities, all the problems get start.

Overall, gambling is an addiction. As long as you have responsibility for all risk, you free to do anything.

When addiction is the final result of gambling, I just worry every gambler will find themselves shameful for being into gambling after some period of time with gambling. If you are good enough to take care of not getting addiction, you can avoid those worst moments.

Reality on gambling is there are more losers than to the winners on playing it.When we are on a winning streak its really normal for the emotion to comeout like greediness which really causes for us to play even more and the shameful thing on a certain gambler is when he lose all that he have on playing it.

As long as you keep hold of yourself and not give in to the temptation of spending not only your free money but the money that is already allocated on other expenses..  No matter it is online or offline if we break the rules of not spending others money or compromised money , then we should be ashamed of ourselves.

Honestly many people had shared they feel shameful for being addicted to gambling. They feel so they will look for methods to come out of gambling but when you are not bothering about yourself and others, I just worry you will not take steps to protect yourself from dangers of gambling by any chance if you get addicted to it.

If nobody in society took risks....  we'd be pretty backwards and pathetic in our ambitions.   You think going to the moon was a sensible thing to do, really it wasnt.  There was risk, a gamble and even now its debatable if the money was worth the effort
Gambling is only a negative overall if done excessively, its definitely not the poorest which do it.   Everywhere Ive seen have betting as a rich mans sport, you have to have something to gamble beforehand and the poorest dont.  Its like any potential vice, in moderation its fine but it can also exploit that part of humanity which is ready to take risks some of which are needed for survival.  
Some people do extreme sports like parachuting or climbing to get their kicks and others take no risks or expend effort in any direction at all and maybe die of poor health from it.     Nobody is perfect, I prefer sports gambling personally because I think thats more interesting and involving but a small bet on anything is fine.

to me i think there is no shame but if you are playing gambling in a limit. and if you can exceeding your limit in gambling the you will sure ly feel shameful. i think in such area where gambling is banned religiously or by the government and specially in such area where gambling is not consider as moray activity, so those people who still play gambling there can really feel sham.
