It actually depend on your social lifestyle. If you are mixing around those high profile people who focus is on business and investment, gambling can be seen as a weak investment tool so you will feel shame sharing these information with them. However, if you have a social group of gambling, you dont mind sharing your gambling experience with all the related people and they will accept you for who you are.

That is good be pround that we are gambler this is the path we choice to earn money the only issue in playing gambling is when we are becoming greed to chase what we've already lose on it dependig on luck is also depend on our guts on betting.

Even if gambling is illegal but I don't think it's a big crime, we are just a gamblers of a players and we are not operating a gambling sites.
With the help of crypto currencies we were able to hide our real identity and that gives us a comfort in gambling, we know that it's illegal then
we should know how to counter it not to be caught to continue enjoying gambling.

Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consisted gambling as a bad thing? That can be shameful if you are not a responsible person and you are making gambling in your first list before your family and duties. And that is making gambling as a bad habit if that is bringing them a very bad result. I'm just hiding that I'm gambling because I wanted to hide it since my family already knew about it.

People in general thinks that gambling is bad so even if you're not around high profiled people, you will be ashamed of gambling. It's the same thing as random sex, smoking weed, and other stuffs. You have to be around people that have the same interest or do the same things even occasionally for you to not get judged. There would be no meaning if you look for your entertainment or source of income by breaching your social value. You will lose your status even you come out as a winner in gambling. I personally will not prefer this.

But dealing about how others will think about our gambling activity through being silent must need lot of passion and experience. One in hundred might be having such a mentality to give importance to gambling rather than family and other necessities. As mentioned there​is nothing to ashamed if he does his responsibilities in the right way and on leisure or with the excess amount after his needs he take part into gambling.

I agree as long as it is legal in one country a person should not feel ashamed being a gambler.  A Person should feel that way if he is neglecting his duties and responsibilities to his job and family due to gambling.  But as long as he is doing his part in everything, gambling should not be a thing to be ashamed of.

If it's against the law, he should be. I don't know why criminals have the guts to do such horrible things, and they are just making it worse for themselves. If they think that stealing would help, definitely it's not. It's just instant gratification to them, and life would get back at you for sure.

Gambling is not even legal in my country as I live in Bangladesh. So if the question comes about gambling in open place,I will definitely try to hide it from my friends and families. But many people does open gambling in our country as they are so much addicted to it even losing most of the time. I admire you for that but sooner or later they will found out about your secret gambling and you don't know if they will accept it in a positive way. I just think it's not a good idea to restrict gambling, since it's always going to happen, whether it's illegal or not.
If it's legal you can at least regulate it, so people don't get scammed and have some help when they become addicted.
