If you can't think about anything else but gambling the whole day and if coming home the first thing you do is turning on the computer to gamble as soon as possible and if after you start you can't stop until your whole balance is lost, then yes gambling is a very bad thing for you. But if you just like to relax gambling for an hour or two and you can stop any time and you don't lose big money with it then there's nothing wrong with that IMO.

Whats the reason why we should be shameful being a gambler?I do play gambling games but I am not ashamed on what I am doing as long I don't compromise anything in my life.I do treat gambling as an entertainment and not a job.Gambler would be shameful already when you already sold all of your assets and lose all your money on playing it and that's the time you will hide yourself to the public.

in my opinion we should only be ashamed if we are doing something wrong not if others wrongfully perceive it as wrong.
which means even if in your country people think gambling is shameful but you don't and also if you are not an addict to gambling then you are not doing anything wrong if you ask me.
gambling can be another game that people enjoy playing and at the same time it can be an addicting thing. it is only different approaches.

Gambling is not that bad, as long you exploit your experience to earn money, if you said that because you think that gambling gives you money without any effort  contrary with other jobs, you should look at traders, investors, they do not make any effort, should they feel shamefull?
For me, I see gambling as a risky way to earn a lot of money, just like trading and investing, and I do not feel shamefull when I gamble.

I don't see any reason to be ashamed if a person is a gambler.  As long as people is not harming other people or have an effect to its family negatively there is no reason to be ashamed of it.  Aside from that if we are spending the money that is ours, and not compromised to other family budgets, i don't see any wrong in there nor any reason to see it a bad thing.

Others consider it as bad because they know it could become an addiction. I don't consider gambling as a bad thing when it's in moderation. I don't feel shameful or proud either but i'll tell them the truth if they ask me questions about me as a gambler.

It would depend on which country do you live in and what type of people are surrounding you because some people see a gambler is a bad person because they usually see the negative effects or negative side of being a gambler on which they make their life miserable thats why some just like to hide themselves but if you are living on a place on which gambling is everywhere then it feels like a freedom.

No, I gamble for fun, it is just like buying coin to play games, the one that should be a shame is when you borrowed money from your friends or family and then you spend it on gambling, or because of gambling you do a bad things, when you do such a thing then you can be shameful to yourself, as long as you gamble with responsible I think it is fine

I don't. Why should I feel shameful when I won money for free? Unlike others, I'm only gambling with faucets so I do not lose any money. And even if I won $100 and then lost it, it would be exactly like I never had it. If you can control yourself and play with limits, you have no reason to feel like that.

If you are gambling and losing money regularly that you cant afford to lose then you need to get help.  The whole shameful thing comes from indoctrination of society.  Basically if people are spending their lifes gambling they aren't good workers for society if the idea, its slave culture.

actually gambling is a bad thing and we all know this but there are many reason for people to playing gambling. i don't feel shameful for being a gambler because i only playing gambling in my spare time and i don't pursuit for the win, i consider win as my bonus for playing gambling. as a gambler, i only playing gambling in my home and not in open room like internet cafe and when i am playing gambling, i am playing in my room with vpn only so no one will know when i am playing gambling.

When I was addicted I did. Because I was an addict and instead of saving and being clever with my money I went and I gambled the lot away.
Trying to gain it back is an endless cycle since you win it back but get greedy and try win more and then end up losing it all and you even further in debt ?

Shameful of doing gambling, if I will put it in myself to that, why should I in the first place? I don't considered gambling as a bad thing since people are the one to blame why they are facing some bad effects after doing gambling. Gambling is just a thing and people's respond to gambling are the main concern here.

As Im not shameful for being a gambler, Im not saying Im a proud too. That is ridiculous if I will state that. Im enjoying my gambling life now, that's it and Im open to my families and friends that Im doing gambling.

I gamble with money that I can afford to lose so no I am not ashamed to be a gambler. It's only a problem for people who gamble with too much money thet they personally can not afford to do without.

For example don't gamble with money you need for bills & food bit any idiot knows this.
