I personally think bitcoin is going to hit its all high in 2017. It has broken the resistance of $1000 which took long enough to happen.
I don't think it will hit the ATH of when Mt Gox was around, but that was highly inflated so I think $1100 is going to be the sweet spot and the stable spot for bitcoin.

2017 could be the good year for bitcoins. The price should go up, the 1000$ barrier was broken and I also expect even more adoption and more bitcoin users. Some occasional smaller dumps are also to be expected but in general this should be good year for bitcoin.

To me it seems like people always expect the next year to be Bitcoins best year. We still have no solved major problems and i see no groundbreaking news, but the price is rising extremely. I wonder for how long. |

I know it right and it is very possible that more people are going to know bitcoin for this year. And I believe that the price will keep on pumping. And as of now the price did reach $1,000+ for so many times and I guess for the second quarter of this year, it can be $1,200. I guess that before the end of the year the price will pump up to $1,500. |

Now that there is less hype about china controlling bitcoin
I think 2017 will be the year we see an all time high as we have more people than ever getting on board and probably have more countries endorse the use of it as political grounds crash down and will be crawling to bitcoin for redemption.
i think now we are very near to all time high price. may be cross that limit in the current month. but i think the progress of bitcoin is not going to stop here. people are accepting bitcoin so the demand is increase because the supply is decreasing. i think in the mid of 2017 bitcoin will easily cross 1500 USD leve. so better to hold bitcoin and not to sell. Yes you are right the progress of bitcoin will continue till the last of the day and t will continue to increase in price much more till the time when all of the bitcoins are mined and till the time when every person of the world accept bitcoin and use bitcoin for their use. |

Bitcoin market cap is now standing at 16.5 billion USD. Just before a week, it was 15.8 billion dollar. It is a huge influx in investment. So I feel bitcoin will now find support at around 1100 USD. It also has the potential to reach up to 1600 level by another two months.
So bitcoin will have a fantastic year ahead. I am also optimistic about the price movement in near future. So it is better to accumulate more bitcoin instead of selling them.

If Trump succeeds in his plan to reduce taxation on the poor to middle class, while shifting the tax burden onto the wealthy, the value of fiat will probably increase on top of the economic and job market booms Trump's economic policies would create.
That could limit bitcoin interest & growth in the united states.
But in EU countries where banks are seeking to outlaw paper currency to give themselves a bigger monopoly over currency exchange, bitcoin could grow significantly as people seek ways to get out from under the banker monopoly.

as long as Trump will not intervene about bitcoin then it will be a good 2017 for us I just thought about him because hes a businessman before he became a politician so his mindset is all about profit. If US will do the first move about centralizing bitcoin or taxing it like what a commodity price is then I can think of some activity to those pro bitcoin(like me) against those opposing it.

I think Bitcoin has made great strides in recent years in increasing its user base, but I recognize that, as you said, there are still issues that need to be resolved with some urgency. It has been more than a year since the Bitcoin's scaling debate continues, and if the number of users continues to grow without this being resolved, more people will be complaining and questioning the efficiency of Bitcoin as a currency capable of functioning for micropayments. |

Bitcoin awareness is increasing every day. I do not think there will be much change for normal citizens in 2017. There will be no change to affect our daily life.
But the popularity among people who use bitcoin will increase a lot more. To me, in 2017, bitcoin will reach at least $ 2000.
