Based on that, you have a dead set of chips on your 2Pac or Compac. how much power per port is your hub giving the stick?

If the hub is able to provide the full power, seems like the only thing could be something with the hardware. I have 2Pacs that still work fine, but they're at least 3 years old and the chips they use are probably even older.

What version of cgminer are you running? The standard version isnt great with these. Try downloading the gekko version of cgminer at the start of this thread or in the Newpac/R606 thread.

Actually I would be surprised if the bare cgminer would work at all because it lacks the drivers (written by VH) needed for the chips.

Couldn’t remember if it was supported at all so hedged my bets  Wink

did you add
--suggest-diff 422
so cgminer starts at a reasonable diff? If not the stick will have to work against a much higher difficulty for the 1st share and then hope the pool lowers it for the next shares. That can take a lot of time - possibly longer than it takes for another block to be started.

No idea what you are mining or where that is or why the network difficulty would change that fast.

Looks like some scam coin that's dying fast and you wont get anything worthwhile Tongue
Which makes it off topic also.

You will know how long that will take to find a share by reading the 'Connected to' line you didn't post ...

this is an old thread. If you installed CGminer from the build on this thread, you should follow the directions on this one:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5053833.0

Should work. I was able to run an OG Compac w/ the new version of cgminer no problems at all.

Have you created a ".sh" file to run it with your specific frequency in the command line?

If you run the standard one it will default to stock freq.

I dont think so  i just start cgminer with this command

cd ~/git/vthoang/cgminer/./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://sha256.mining-dutch.nl:9996 -u / -p  / --suggest-diff 10 --gekko-2pac-freq 200

How do i do that

If youve compiled it on the pi then you can open a new text document in the cgminer folder. Then wrote your command line in “./cgminer etc etc etc” save it as a “.sh” file then right click and change the permissions to make it executable. Then doible click and select open in terminal.

From that last screen shot. You have got a NEWPAC not a 2pac. Which means your freq command is irrelevant. You need the command for the NEWPAC freq.
