My poor CPU can't get a share on Simple Pool either. AltPool is still working great though.

What command are you using for your miner? I have tried numerous ones, and all seem to be working from my end

I actually just use the 'wallet miner'; but in this case I tried command also; exactly the same as given in support. Its weird because its connecting with all other pools.

Anyways, don't sweat; - its 5-6 kHash/s only.

Double check your worker ID and password.

You should be getting a couple hundred a day at least at that speed, what pool are you using?  I can tell you http://feathercoin.is-a-geek.com/ is working well right now...

I've been using p2pool's new FC one.  I can't figure out if I have something set up in my cgminer wrong.  I have it to my GPU with E1, S1, Q0 and I8 (anything else crashes).  I see other people on their stats with the same hash rates getting many more coins as me.  I am relatively new so I must have set something up wrong?  6zSfNd9BqXMhshCRu3rCt4uZtnsLJjQ6EU

1 share every 30 mins isn't right at all, i get like 30 an hour using my CPU at 22 khash/sec....

Solomining is about finding blocks, not shares so if you didn't get any coins, that mining was for nothing....

you are using cgminer, correct?

I was.  Now I tweaked it to start with GUIMiner (cg miner) and it's going a lot faster.  With solo and p2pool (2 miners) it's averaging about 10m/hps.  Does this seem right?

I've had much better success using the cudaMiner here on the forums, been using it for the last week or so and its only been getting better the last two revisions added 2% more khash/s each, i'm now up too 117 kh/s with 1.25% rejected compared too the 40-50kh/s i get with cgminer, on my aging GTX460. I seen there was someone else with a 520 GTX getting 20kh/s you should be getting the same since the GT610 is just a rebrand of the GT520.
commands i used are: -C 2 -i 0 -s 1
