Who cares what ledger do though. They are just a company, they aren't Bitcoin. The market will determine if that service is useful to people and being how many stupid people there are in the world I'm sure it will get used. Effect on Bitcoin is zero, the bocks keep coming, as always.
Nobody should care when it comes to Bitcoin but it is Bitcoin adjacent so worth talking about. There is a fair bit of FUD nonsense surrounding this but there is an important core of truth. Unfortunately, adjacent news often does affect Bitcoin price, especially in the skittish market we appear to be in (though sometimes very important news doesn't even move the needle). |

I doubt there will ever be a US president, UK prime minister or EU leader who will seriously say "look we can't pay our bills, it's gotten completely out of control. We can't even afford the ridiculous interest on our debt, so we have to massively tighten handouts and reduce the size of the state as a result." But, eventually, a decision will be made for these people, there is no other way. Unless of course they keep inflation in the 5-10% territory.  |
