I realized something. Bitcoin is free from state control, right? The price is determined organically according to supply and demand, yes? And what happens after a sudden and rapid rise in price? After the boom comes the bust. Down to less than half of the previous high, and only now slowly climbing back up.

Many organic cycles in nature mirrors this, most obviously animal populations. And when you look at the human population over the past handful of hundreds of years, what do you see? Exponential rise, a rocket taking off. But the food supply is limited, and we will eventually hit a hard cap. We will top off at 9-11 billion people. And once we reach the top, what will happen? We will have some percentage drop.

I thought until recently that millions of people, perhaps hundreds of million, were going to die. But no. Billions of people are going to die. And there is a possibility that it will happen within our lifetimes.

I'm going to fucking bed. Hopefully I will have some less horrible nightmares than this.

Just go to bed...

We technically have enough food for the entire planet, it just doesn't get to certain places. And in my opinion it shouldn't (for free). If we see hundreds of millions of people dying in our lifetime it will most likely be in places like Africa, since they're still playing tribal games in their most primitive form instead of focusing on progress. Don't really see billions vanishing though.

Those 'advances' have included unsustainable practices that yield poorer and poorer quality foods using petroleum based fertilizers, vast amounts of diesel fuel, and toxic pesticides (that kill off bees etc) not to mention GMO blah blah blah.  It's not a good situation.  Not to say that more sustainable advances can't happen, but it's going to have to happen pretty fucking fast to reverse damage done while contending with rapidly changing climate.  The information is out there, but it's not being spoon few to the populace by .gov and MSM (quite the opposite).  You've got to search it out.

I dont feel any need to prove or disprove anything to you....dude. I gave you my honest opinion and said the guy has a couple of good points but I cant help but wonder how much he was charging for that seminar.

If yours is a thinly veiled inference to the US having a piss poor immigration policy and "yee haw, 'merica is great again" we ought to build the walls higher...sorry...im not biting.

R0ach, do tell, why you aren't taking advantage of such opportunities if they don't come as a surprise. Even if you were to funnel your gains back into what you believe in (silver?).  Is it fear?

But the thing is, he probably is though. He's got a Steemit account and it's documented that he's funneling his proceeds to Bitfinex to trade.  Roll Eyes

He's just a fkn troll trader. Probably doesn't even give a shit about silver, he's just trying to a create a bullshit troll persona on this WO thread.

Looking mostly upward from here for the rest of 2018.

Make sure to buy before 5 March

What do we have to buy and why? BTC? Why 5 march?

That's probably a mistake or smth, ETC has an airdrop on 05.03 so he might be talking about that.

Applies to the Bitcoin market too. I.E., we are in a drawdown right now. Due to a 60% correction, normies are walking away from a market that will once again explode in the next few years to a new unimaginable ATH.

The move from the $1200 ATH to the $20k ATH was unimaginable. In the future it could make a move from the $20k ATH to a new $400k ATH, although it seems unimaginable now.

Yep. And I will squeal with glee (again) when it does, knowing that it will continue to piss off old farts like this guy:

I created Rosewater as a security precaution when I thought I was going to be rich.
I brought BMB back to spend all his sMerits.

So you're not rich anymore ?!  Undecided

Everyone rich is poor again

Speak for yourself HairyMcBerry!!!!!    Angry Angry

Currently BTC prices are rising and therefore, I am only 50% more poor rather than my 10 days ago status of 70% more poor.

Therefore, I am feeling 40% better in a mere 10 days.  Go search for that kind of potion for your troubles in non-bitcoin places, and you won't be finding it.   Tongue Tongue

For real.  BTC hit $6K one week ago!

This IS Gentlemen!  2018 is the year BTC becomes much more difficult to buy. Hedge fund managers never saw it coming. Perhaps a last chance below 10K?

TOO late!

Oh my!!!!

From the coindesk article, it appears that the news about coinbase is getting worse and worse.. and growing pains and government document entanglement.. and confusing matters in regards to tax implications.

I had not even looked into the IRS form 1099k matter, and maybe that will cause more coinbase/gdax drama for me, and apparently for other coinbase customers, too.

My ongoing support ticket matter goes into the end of this week with my ongoing request to get the GDAX portion of my account turned back on, and the latest e-mail from Coinbase is telling me that they are elevating my matter to an even higher level than the support specialist...

Maybe I will get Brian, himself??? hahahahaha.. I doubt it...    So far, my GDAX has been frozen for about 9 days.

Anyhow, yesterday or the day before I re-uploaded my ID (which I thought that I had already uploaded), and then after receiving another e-mail today from Coinbase saying that they were escalating my matter to a higher level, I tried linking another bank account through Coinbase and thinking that maybe that could resolve some issues and allow me to regain access to my GDAX trading - but nope.

Coinbase's bank account system did allow me to link another bank account to my Coinbase account, but then their system gave me an error message saying that deposits and withdrawals had been disabled on my account  - so go figure!!!  I cannot do anything.

All of this seemed to have started out merely because I had attempted to deposit $500 from my Bank of America checking account last week....  Cry Cry  But at least I have been informed that my situation is getting further escalated .   Wink Wink

Continuing deterioration in sentiment. I don’t know this indicator enough to judge whether this is bearish.
