Tahiti seems nice. I'd have to confirm with Elwar. Are there dancing girls? Dancing girls is the only reason to go anywhere.
Dancing girls all the time. It is the main hobby of most females here.

You can’t tax robots because the jobs aren’t going to “robots”, the jobs are going to software.
The answer is to skill up in skills needed by the automation software industry. If you cant beat them, join them.
That might buy a generation. The problem situation, however, is looming large, near, and seemingly inevitable.

You can take the foreign earned income exclusion which is about $102k if you are outside of the US for 330 days out of the year.
The thing is, that's different from capital gains tax...no exclusion there.
I have tried every avenue to turn my bitcoin capital into income. My original idea was to give/loan/etc. my bitcoins to a foreign company in Turks & Caicos (allows for a single owner of a company, 0% capital gains and income taxes).
But there is a law in the US where if you have over 10% ownership in a company and they sell any capital, you have to pay taxes on it as if you yourself sold that capital.
I considered a Charitable Remainder Trust that allows you to put your money into a trust with a certain amount going to a charity upon your death with the rest held by the trust and you can earn income from that. But with that you have to hand over control of all of that money to another entity to invest with no input from you. Part of your investment would be held for the charitable contribution.
Instead I am just hodling until the US collapses. I can cash out (spend) about $37k of my bitcoins each year and pay no taxes. I am a minimalist so that is plenty for me.
All true. But I been tellin' all y'all. Since years now. Puerto Rico. It's a place. Its citizens are US citizens. They pay no federal income tax.

Giving up US citizenship for something like NZ citizenship is one obvious route.
Sorry, no. You need to take the exit tax hit.

I once had a Math teacher that insisted that linear functions are any line, not just straight lines. Not sure if he was retarded or if he just didn't like my attitude. Probably both.
To a geometricist, all lines are straight. If not straight, it is not a line, but a curve. Or a function. You payz yo money, you makez yo choice.

I am pretty sure you can game the tax systems by “earning” all your income while offshore or in a tax free jurisdiction and not staying in any particular Western country for more than 179 days [does not work for US citizens]
So fly to Dubai to cash out your BTC and then go skiing for a couple of months, rinse repeat.
The problem that I have is specifically with owning property in that kind of situation. I don't want to go from hotel to hotel or Airbnb to Airbnb for the travel part. But if I could just own two houses and have each of them set up as a fully functional base then I would be perfectly happy to just fly over from one to the other every 6 months. Just haven't found anything specific regarding this edge case yet. Yup, 6 months here 6 there is pretty ideal. I've been doing perpetual summer for the better part of 20 years and its worked out very well. Depending on the country, ownership of land or house can get tricky, especially in SE Asia it has a particular set of headaches. I prefer to rent/lease long term in Asia which also gives me the option to pick up and go much easier if needed and own in the countries which I have citizenship. Just looked out the window. I envy your lifestyle. Haha I see that your neck of the woods is ankle deep in shit. Disgusting, really. I was depressed by the 12C and fog here, but now I'm laughing a little. thanks

Not another ERC20, It will be a stand alone coin which will be a fork of Digibyte with some key variations.
Not a bitcoin fork. Just another shitcoin ICO. Please return to your regularly scheduled programming.

After many epic rap battles, multiple stabbings, and gang shootings it was agreed that the number of THUG Coins in circulation would be 14,000,000,000.

Guys, i yesterday wrote a support letter to Bitfinex, and got answer within one day (there´s actually people there), and all my orders always get executed immediately. I swear, i don´t work for them, but they are really professional. On the other hand, at Poloniex, i´m waiting for months. That´s a completely different story.
Thought, i´ll let you know.
