Where are BlindMayorBitcorn and Aminorex and Jimbo at these days ??

Aminorex hangs out at the monero speculation thread, but hasn't been seen for a while. He usually comes back when the dust settles and a new bull market is in the making.

Ah cool....thanks

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Nice to see bCash getting it's comeuppance.  This gold hat also has a silver lining.

How long is it anticipated that the BCH war will go on? Surely they’re not going to continue making losses and/or selling bitcoin to support that rubbish for long?

Imagine if CW gives up & we’re back at 10k before NYE.

Too much to ask?

Ok

My models say the following

"61 is the new 44"

Who was it who said never go down on a girl?

I’d eat her for breakfast, lunch & dinner!

Who is she?
Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
If that´s her, then... she´s 64. What is it with some of you and grannies?

She has a fertile-looking body still.

I suppose now would be a good time to have a whip round for the Mayors funeral expenses?

Good morning Bitcoinland. Back in the jungle with my new implants, stitches removed, and a working internet connection.

I see we seemed to have bottomed out last night and we're on the rise again... currently $4810USD/$6368CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

It went all the way down to where we were in October 2017, over 13 months ago.

Medium-term (3-5 years) holders are still doing quite well for themselves, with values increased by thousands of percent. Longer-term holders have done extremely well for themselves.

Life is good in Bitcoinland.
_____

Regarding "hodling", I noticed the debate about what constitutes holding. Some seem to think that it somehow involves never selling.

I consider myself a holder but I have certainly sold bitcoins when I needed fiat currency for whatever reason. It's just that when I sold it wasn't based on the price, it was based on need.

My first purchased coins cost me $68CAD each. My average cost is less than $300CAD each. Last January I sold some coin for $21kCAD each to buy my house in Mexico. Last March I sold some coin for over $10kCAD each to pay for dental bone graft and sinus lift surgery and buy 2 more Mexican properties. A couple of weeks ago I sold some coins for over $8kCAD each to pay for my implants ans trip down. In between I sold bits of coin to buy myself a nice Gallien-Kruger bass amp and a Honda generator to back up the unreliable power grid in my village in Mexico.

Holding doesn't mean not selling. It means being an investor rather than a trader/gambler.

The world will go back to metals again as money no matter how much kicking and screaming the banks do to try and prevent it.

I hold crypto and metals. And hope many others would too. But people are just very stupid. Just tell them to buy some real gold. The question is "What do I do with it?"

If five percent of the people used every month five percent of their income to gold and silver, the price would go up sure. The greater real demand would also make price manipulation much harder. People could use physical metals to pay each other directly. And avoid every tax and KYC/AML. But no, people are stupid.
Start your own facebook. Make it better, shinier, with more buttons. Technically better in every way. Now see if you can get people to use it.

No, just the shape. She's clearly old. Distance and 2d and photoshop does wonders for a gal, but real life would be much different. Plus you can't do anything about the funny smells that age brings.
