The last argument will make every other meaningless.
Congratulations.

Crime has dropped every single year in my country for the past 25 years, we do have open borders. I'd say that has nothing to do with criminal activities.
You are blessed. We are not so much blessed here. We have open borders too. The criminality has risen since 1995 a lot, and since 2015 like Bitcoin. And that was not surprise for me.

We have interpol, we have "face-recognition" cameras amongst things we don't know about.
Face-recognition cameras all around is one result of the borders without control. And face-recognition is far more Orwellian than the border control on the borders of the country. At least it is for me.

Having borders everywhere would just complicate things, think about international transport and trade.
The border control is not needed "everywhere". The Border control is necessary only on the borders. And like I previously mentioned, if there is no border control on the borders, then the border control will be "everywhere", on schools, restaurants, roads and so on.

International transport and trade is not disturbed by the border control. The transport and trade is done all the day around, all the time over, already. Over the controlled borders, with no problem.

I do agree we must have some lines drawn, as there are places/people who can't integrate and whose cultural behaviour will never meet the standards of others. People are just different. But in EU the Shengen area has made things much easier, not vice versa and like said, I don't know anything about risen criminal activity, please do educate me if you have any information on that.
When the first lines are drawn again on the border, there will be far less cultural behavior like rape, murder, robbery, pedophilia, terrorism and violence inside the controlled borders.

In addition. The prerequisite for functional schengen area would be the border control on the outer borders of schengen, which exists in legally but not practically.

@hueristic I hope your watching this game, just amazing 4 goals in 10 minutes WTF ??

Five in 21 min Huh!!
I hope that it would end here and "robots" are eliminated.

Its just that Debruyne never underestimate Belgian injections Cheesy Grin

Great player, but he can't help it, 'robots' are out.
Now, hopefully LFC would win against Barcelona, sorry, Messi's fans.
LFC is too dynamic for them.
Could be a UK final, but I rather cheer for Ajax vs Tottenham.

Last time this cross happened it went to the moon.

On picture you posted it crossed 3 times. June, September and October.  Maybe it did more times  but red line starts from June.  Yes in October when those lines crossed the last time the bull run started.     I believe right now we are in June 2015 and we might get two or more crossing in next months before getting excited.

I have a question: why it has to happen EXACTLY as the last time?
In short: it doesn't and it won't.
Reason: every bitcoin bull market was different so far.

When I am thinking about btc, one number sticks out:

On average, each earthling can have only $0.00273 BTC (current price $14.26).
If you spend $1426 on btc right now (buying 0.273 BTC) and not buy anymore EVER, you would be a 'guaranteed' 1% (even less in reality due to some having large stashes) among all earthlings (not counting only those with btc).
Granted, you won't be rich right now, but in terms of btc, you would be in 1% class.
A pretty good hedge, if you ask me.

TL;DR Those 0.273 BTC are a pretty good hedge (in case btc would win).

I think it's because humans tend to compartmentalize everything in order to avoid anxiety.   If it does turn out differently, we have a drawer for that event too Wink

Interpol, the world's leading police-cooperation body, aims to "connect police for a safer world." Although the organization's constitution states that Interpol cannot engage in "any intervention or activities of a political, military, religious or racial character," it is increasingly being subverted by autocratic regimes seeking to pursue their exiled political opponents. The number of Red Notices (a type of arrest request issued through Interpol) has increased tenfold in the past fifteen years. Those targeted face the risk of arrest if they travel across borders; have difficulties obtaining visas and open bank accounts; and suffer reputational damage. Interpol remains opaque and lacks accountability for its actions. Recent reforms have started to address some of these issues. But more needs to be done to prevent the hijacking, repurposing, and weaponizing of Interpol by today's globalized authoritarian regimes.

This is embarrassing.
UBS is a global bank, willing to compete on a planetary scale for financial domination, and all one of his analyst can produce is a really cheap analysis on historical returns of completely unrelated assets on different times?
I am fairly surprised I didn’t read the word “tulips” in this piece.
I want my three minutes back.

Edit: this is embarrassing.
More than one year on the forum and still cannot properly quote the right message.

Any thoughts on HnS here? (forgive me for overdrawing on your graph)

P.S. I'm still overall bearish until we're trading above $6000.

Scary!  Head and shoulder patterns are dead on about 1/3 the time.   The other 2/3rd is when the price action just grinds on or heads up.    Still it is as accurate as other TA or even having a blind monkey throw darts at a chart.

Oh you are funny!

lol

another merit but thats the last one for today im warning you.

This whole thing with Elwar and seasteading has got me sick to my stomach truth be told..quite depressing really. Have to keep the ol chin up however..so on we go.

I alluded to a possible solution a few weeks ago. Unfortunately we are still several decades away from making it a reality.

There will never be freedom from nation states down here at the bottom of a gravity well. By definition you are at the bottom of big hole and its damn hard to climb up out of. While down at the bottom you are subject to all sorts of kinetic activities be it micro or macro in scale.

Getting to the Moon and Mars is going to be fantastic but sustained zero gravity immersion is problematic. Even on Mars where the gravity is 38% the strength of Earths it is unknown what the long term repercussions might be to the human body.

And while rotating space stations are cool and actually possible to build I think the solution is asteroids gentlemen. Yep, you heard me right. Asteroids

Head out to the belt and find a suitable candidate, hollow out a portion and spin yourself up a asteroid.

Fully customizable HodlsTM build to exacting specifications. Brought to you of course by the GAINZ CORP

whoops..wrong graph

------------

So the other elephant in the room.

When does decoupling happen?  How does it happen?  Do we blow upwards and then shake off the fleas..or do we crash downward and let the dross float to the surface.

Deep questions for a moody and philosophical Wednesday.

One last thing..who keeps posting those sexy charts?    Roll Eyes

$5.3k+  challenged possibly tomorrow with sideways consolidation advancing steadily. This horizontal line of indicators that are "stacking" up on one another can induce what I like to call compression forces that when broken can induce significant slippage. #dyor

But the refugees in Europe don't want to work. They are not even allowed to do so for a few first years (in my country at least). They want free money with a living space.

I used to live in Finland in an area where refugees were massively brought in, I'd say around 95% did not work and had no will to do so. They got more from the government than the lower wages were. I can see similar behaviour when travelling to Sweden or Norway for example. Most of them can't and won't integrate. Not ever.

Most of the garbage handlers in those countries are pale white.

As far as I know EU is very selective when they are picking refugees.

I live in the country which sends you those.  Grin (Turkey)

All the dumber ones are here (estimated number is 5 effin million btw) and from what I see, all the doctors and engineers are leaving to the EU.

You have a point though. There are many who don't want to work too.  But hey, be glad you don't live over here. There is worse than bad.

Our alphabet is latin, but there are many Arabic signs I started to see in the streets in the last 4-5 years... I have no idea about what they say.
Turkish used Arabic script before changing to the Latin alphabet.  Those signs might be Turkish written in the old style.
