$6200 would have been a nice long

So any idea what triggered the dump? Coinbase volumes were up like 60x during the worst 15 min candle, But I can't tell if that was cause or effect. Didn't happen on my watch.

From a TA perspective we broke the parabolic curve.  Cause or effect?  /shrug

Parabolic move stopped, bull market is still alive.

We will see more $1k-$2k-$3k dumps.

Relax, this pitstop is healthy.

Keep your hands strong and hold what you have now and do invest more will be fine.

I feel that there is a high wave of resistance after this small correction, be hold! and stay strong!

I guess that he "moved on" in life, so yeah, perhaps he has become a notorious BIG BLOCKER that is wasting his time in bcash circles, and he had gotten a bit bitter about this place.

You see, you certainly would be more in touch in those circles than me, so how the hell am I going to know all the names of the "movers and shakers" pursuing the ongoing "good fight" bitcoin disinformation campaign?

Indeed. But I managed to have my short closed near the bottom, so I'm left with just a slice of my long (security buffer) that I intentionally left out of my stop. Would have reopened/added more from even lower than I had already prepared, but I didn't have a chance to place/modify the orders. Now that feels like fuckery. Like 20 straight minutes, FFS.

Jbreher duly reports Coinbase not affected. Then is it a unique flavour of verlakking, guacamole and nachos on the side, MEX style?

Clueless. I confide in a few of our fine analysts for some fine storytelling.

@jbreher, of course you can use or mention SOMA freely. It's open source anyway, as Hairy pointed out.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We may never know...that being said...my advice is to buy the dip.

Do you think it could be an algorithm on a certain exchange same as every pump and every dump?

Coinbase not affected consistent with very strong US retail demand.  This rally has legs.  I predict this bear attack is thoroughly repulsed.

I have nothing on exchanges tho so can’t trade it.

I expected a 30% retrace starting at 8400.

But this price action was ridiculous.

At one point like 400$ spread on mex...

So far we bounced back to 7300+, but i still believe/hope we gonna see low 6k or high 5k.

Edit:

Low on stamp was 6170.

You are a fucking nutjob, jonoiv.

You are getting all excited because there is a price correction, which is normal, and you want to paint such correction as either a doom and gloom situation or something that you predicted...   Which this correction is neither.  This is what happens.  If bears are able to push the BTC price down, they push it down as far as they can and for how long they can.  So in the coming days we are going to see whether the BTC price goes back up, stagnates in some area in the lower $7k region or continues to go down.

We will see.  We will see.

If there is some continued downward BTC price  momentum, of course, there will also be some continued attempts at FUD spreading, and we will see the extent to which that FUD spreading is successful, too.
