They have no emitting entity, backing institution or assets, no guarantees of acceptance or conversion to national currencies. Their price may fluctuate wildly, even to zero, and governments may prevent their use. They may get you involved in criminal investigations even if you use them in good faith. They may be stolen by hackers.

Lol, wasting their money! A./ He was seen this morning B./ It's not that difficult to find out where he lives. Hahahaha Don't worry we have a GPS tracker attached to the bottom of his frappacino cup. Obviously he's smart enough to change cups several times during his walk home in order to lose anyone tailing him. |

cheer up. of course it will go over 1k. the party WILL take place. gox customers get their tickets now for 100 bucks... mark just wants to support the party I have to admit, I do play devil's advocate pretty hard sometimes. It all looks good. Sometimes I just require a bit of bouncing ideas off the Wall Observers. Vast majority believes it will trade at 10k one day (poll at top of this page). And I can wait til the summer. Will buy a little more with tax returns (just on principle, a way of sticking it to the Man) and a little more next month if it goes even further down. I'm still waiting for the suicide watch sticky on /r/bitcoin.
You need to get some help. Unless you are planning on helping anyone considering suicide, this is a serious problem. I've talked more than one person out of it and it is not fun or easy, let alone entertaining. But the reward is pretty damn good for your karma bank account. |

Good news is that sooner or latter he'll get punished. For some reason I imagine him behind the bars, this is where he belongs. Do you think there is a chance that he's someones pupet? It not a joke to play with millions and leave so many people angry. Anyway, another problem - btc price is going down. Could we focus on that and do something?  You suggest punishing Mark for others' bad choices? Seems odd to me. |

I was kicking myself for having no cash at Gox but looked and found $233.00. Bought 2 @ $111. 00. I don't subscribe to the sky is falling thing. This little buy averages down the cost of my holdings and more importantly adds two coins to it. Anyone with cash on Gox want to front it to me (not sure if that's even possible)? If you can figure out the details, I'll get $2000.00 or so to you from the US any way you can conceive. Probably too much trust involved here, but I'd sure love to mop up 20 more 'hundred dollar' coins. |
