I don't get it. who is selling his BTC stash a few days before halving?
EDIT: or are this just derivatives?
EDIT2: in the morning someone wrote that the $10500 level is an important Coinbase level but not on Bitstamp. afterwards the post was deleted by him. he answered mindrust and wrote that the level is known for 4 months now. could be someone from a prop trader company.

or it was an inside job of an exchange. if you know such levels and you know how much buyer volume including the stop levels you have on your exchange it will pays a lot for you if you try to manipulate the market. EDIT: I bet on BitMEX or Binance which caused the dump. EDIT2: did anyone recognized that Binance integrated an Indian P2P exchange today? --> https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1227965284717416448

FC Barcelona Dives Into Crypto, Partnering With Chiliz to Create TokenSpanish soccer powerhouse FC Barcelona, or Barca, has teamed up with fintech platform Chiliz to create a blockchain-based token for the sports franchise.
As part of the partnership with FC Barcelona, Chiliz created Barca Fan Tokens (BAR) for use on its social mobile app called Socios, according to a press release shared with Cointelegraph. https://cointelegraph.com/news/fc-barcelona-dives-into-crypto-partnering-with-chiliz-to-create-tokenIt is not my favorite sport, but this is fine, more noise, more people for cryptography and, by default, Bitcoin.

Based on the numbers from the article he did all this when bitcoin was $877 USD, looks like the feds are poking through years old data. I always find it interesting that some crimes get no bail while often murderers do get bail, never quite understood that though I'm sure there are decent reasons, flight risk and all... https://cointelegraph.com/news/coin-ninja-ceo-arrested-for-laundering-311m-with-bitcoin-privacy-toolsAccording to an arrest warrant filed earlier this month, Harmon allegedly laundered over 354,468 Bitcoins (BTC) (worth $311 million at the time of the transactions), allowing the users of a privacy tool named Helix, and a darknet search engine named Grams, to make transactions on AlphaBay, a known dark market that was shut down in 2017.

Seems gimmicky with a shelf life perhaps on the same time frame as a mayfly but yes I agree more publicity for Bitcoin by default.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Lovely roller coaster action... an AYH over $10.5k, a serious correction, another AYH over $10.5k and then another swift correction... currently $10191USD/$13510CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Whew.
As long as we're posting new AYHs on an almost daily basis, I'm happy. It's certainly not running away with itself exponentially.
Go Bitcoin go.

au contraire, far from being a charlatan he is the master ... masterluc is his second incarnation, before that he was lucif https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=50218 and before that maybe he was another too, or maybe mother_of_another, who knows?! ... he has called both the 2013 AND 2017 mega waves with almost prophetic vision years in advance. (no-one can get all the details exact but his timing and scales have been too good to be luk, the guy has a skill in waves that is something extraordinary.) ... don't get bogged down in the day to day, week to week, his secular bull calls are for the ages ... i.e. for the HODLers. I have a sneaky suspicion he was there and called the legendary 2011 Gox spike, but who knows, that would be a myth by then. ok, so maybe he lost the connection to his private jinn sometime somehow? something like that ... probably he was so successful in 2013 and 2017 that he doesn't really care that much anymore and only does it now for fun and old times sake. Who really knows? If you read all his words it makes more sense, he knows bitcoin deeply and understands markets intimately also. I also respect masterluc for his long term prediction. He foresaw the 2017 boom and subsequent bear. He's not that good at short term, but his voice shouldn't be disregarded IMHO. He does know his shit.
