So, I'm new to the p2pool mining... I just noticed I have a nifty new symbol in my wallet (looks like a mining symbol) and the coins tagged as 'immature'. So is this a payout from the p2pool ?? I'm guessing it is, but I'm not to sure. It's to the right address just I never saw immature coins before...

Give me Btc: 1BRkf5bwSVdGCyvu4SyYBiJjEjbNiAQoYd Mine on my node: http://ask.gxsnmp.org:9332/

I can't, yet, tells me I need to wait for 28 more blocks to be mined... Then we can pop the cherry....

Spending it immediately would probably not be spending it wisely.

P2pool LTC weirdness continues. Grin First, no block for 6 hours, from 13:29 UTC till 19:42 UTC, but whatever, let's say it's just bad luck.. but now again I've got 2 "mined" transactions in my wallet that aren't listed in the p2pool history at all! The last 2 LTC blocks found by p2pool so far were mined at 20:52 and 20:56 (all UTC times), it's 23:15 now and there are no other blocks listed in the table yet (I'm also checking other nodes like http://pool.cp8.ca:5555/static/, the tables look identical to my local one).

But I've got 2 newer "mined" transactions in my wallet, at 21:31 and 22:45 (UTC). First transaction: http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/4c761ddb0be73aff8587eb6c3496f9701f40b16ec7a71b9d12dd89e2d9d8cdb0 (21:31, block 337089). Second transaction: http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/6840634b7e39355fa566eb7e50dc376b1345849bb0c20515958ab6251f38ea26 (22:45, block 337126). And I'm getting ~ the same share I'm supposed to get from a block mined at p2pool which is ~1.2 LTC at the moment, but these aren't listed in the p2pool history. Any idea where they are coming from, is there something wrong with p2pool or litecoin network?

something wrong with p2pool probably, since (the litecoin part) reports my bitcoind as being in need of upgrade

P2pool is NOT reporting blocks that are found by ORPHANED shares, because those shares are NOT in chain anymore.
"Note that blocks may have been orphaned from the P2Pool chain and so not be here."

I see a new Avalong Testing firmware has been released. Is it safe to put Avalons on p2pool yet?

HHTT was having problems, Slush *is* having problems. Maybe it's just a better technology?

HHTT was in red, it had no technical problems, AFAIK.

True. Though I was having problems connecting a few weeks ago. That was pretty minor, however.

Is it wise to use p2pool with only 11mh/s? I'm not getting anything for a few days now.

It seems strange to me that your Best share is 0.

With 11MH/s current estimated payout is  0.000616424026081 BTC per day.

However, I think that requires that you find at least one share every 24 hours. The current share difficulty is 1260

I've just tested latest Avalon firmware, 20130419, with p2pool, it has cgminer 2.11.4 inside, so I thought it would work without problems using stratum, but it does not.

Is there something to do on my p2pool instance to make it work?

thanks
