Hello,
Has anyone a rough idea of how many L3+ are going to be put online in total from now until mid-September?
I am trying to estimate as well their monthly output of L3+...
That would give us a pretty idea of what would be the future difficulty.
Has anyone some numbers in mind?
cheers

How many batches of the S9 were released within the first few months when it was the newest miner that everyone wanted? Maybe a few more batches to go before they slow down is my uneducated guess.

Just found this thread after buying 20 miners from Bitmain........ Gotta say it is a good read. I suppose by the time my August-Sept batch comes out the ROI is probably going to be on par with that of an S9 or worse. But from what I read in this thread it seems that people are expecting the difficulty to atleast be 4X by the time september rolls around, which ofcourse means that Litecoin prices will correspondingly Quadruple in that time..........
So I guess the best way to get money out of this is to actually just buy some lites and hold it for 2 months.......

Only time will tell! I have good feelings about LTC though.

Man you got to like bitmain from their evil genus hedge on if they have to do uahf and go with a bitmain coin fork on bitcoin even if they do it will only benifit LTC etc...so man what a hedge The also I see only take LTC now 41 LTC to get a L3+ (Jan I was paying that to have titan cube fixed at 4.15 LTC or there abouts..sigh) In case your keeping track that is a jump to about $2,100 bucks (ouch!) https://shop.bitmain.com/productDetail.htm?pid=000201706190211442184X1qwJal06ADSo IF the price of LTC goes up to $75 bucks ...folks will likely pay...if it dumps to $30 ltc folk will also likely pay on the dump...bitmain is like hey not our fault LTC price is set ..get them now thus ..it is a nice self-regulating mechanism to get out the maximum amount of L3+ units out at any given time..and they can do what baikal does same way with btc crypto lump it or leave it..... starting to get concerned ..the evil genius stuff is starting to become clearer to me over time now on how this "evil mindset' stuff works....scared self brad

I'd jump on board before the price rises again and you won't get yours until October/November. They're going to keep raising the price and pushing back the ship date because people keep buying them all up.

They're going to keep raising the price and pushing back the ship date because people keep buying them all up. Still, think it is like a dog chasing a car...you'll never catch up....disclaimer thou: I have a mess of ROI bitmain equip..but even being a big fan of mining..if you think the price is gonna go up on LTC ..just save your 41 LTC for the pump...in that there is no reason to get scrypt-pow miners if you expect scrypt-pow coins including LTC to pump in a big way. Too many folk on here ....get the equipment or are thinking about it..and HOPE for a pump in LTC price. IF that is ever the case, again imho, it is not really a good time to get equip.....too much risk with .what is it now an almost 3-month wait...ie pre-order Also, remember when LTC price went from like 10 bucks to 25 bucks bitmain PULLED all the pre-orders back (firmware problems ...even thou when machines were gotten still showed jan firmware on the units) Thus even IF LTC price was to jump to 75 bucks or 100 bucks ..there is the possibility that Bitmain could just pull the same stunt to fill their data halls on your dime and drive up difficulty by 1/3 and then ship stuff 6 weeks later (happened to me) So anyway. time to buy equip and a time to maybe invest in coin...take some $$$ out on the pump and use that SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE for new equipment me..its not the time...especially, with bitmain raising the price of units to 2,100 usd or there about's at today's LTC price or dumping more on hash net also at inflated prices use the rise to your advantage for future ASIC miners of any flavor (scyrpt-pow/gpu/x11) etc etc Now imho is not the time (again: I lucked out and scored on equipment so my view is skewed.....just saying..it looks frigging iffy as heck on all this with the amount of bitmain units being (suspected) pumped)

See how much currently have to pay for the equivalent of one L3+ converted to hashpower at Hashnest (Market). This is about 504MHs x 0.2860. It is about 144 LTC. That means that according to the current course you have to pay about $6624.
This shows madness and that the next L3+ in Hashnest can cost even up to around $5600.

Guys just think in way that Bitmain currently collecting LTC (L3+ payment in LTC only!), price will go high, but not immediately, they need to accumulate some quantity first. Currently is a lot better to spend money in LTC than in hardware equipment.... No need for further arguing, just follow the steps of Big players (Bitmain-Jihan) .

Guys, do you know when APW3+ will be available? I need power supply for my l3+
instead of apw3+ could I take one of them? EVGA SuperNOVA 850 T2, 80+ TITANIUM 850W or EVGA SuperNOVA 850 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 850W
could you recommend something else?

The new bitmain's PSU especially designed for L3+ will be launched today or tomorrow.

How is the performance of Antminer L3 in accordance with the price rise of litecoin,is it really profitable to purchase this right now and if so what will be the return of income after electricity bills,i would like to hear from experienced users who are mining for a long time,i did not want to purchase it before hand because of the low price of litecoin and since it started moving i just have second thoughts about it.

I use bitmain's last ones ...forget what they are called I'd assume the new ones specific for the L3+ would be ok (then again no one has tested one yet) but the previous psu's I got work ok, just as an aside How is the performance of Antminer L3 in accordance with the price rise of litecoin,is it really profitable to purchase this right now and if so what will be the return of income after electricity bills,i would like to hear from experienced users who are mining for a long time,i did not want to purchase it before hand because of the low price of litecoin and since it started moving i just have second thoughts about it.
re-read thread posts here from the past some of us think the backlog they had between the last shipped L3+'s on top of their own hashnet and data halls will have a huge impact 2x to 3x the difficulty by say Sept first...this due to 3 batches in July ...that to some of us seem to be quite large...plus the August stuff thereafter etc others think not so much July will tell I guess but I'm skewed I have units for April may etc.....but again imho if you are counting on a pre-order till the end of September for these units on a pump of LTC to say 75 bucks or so well I'd get coin....wait for that pump...dump some profits and then maybe by your flavor of asic equip x11, pow-scrypt or GPU seems safer my view (not that I know squat) but bitmain DID saturate the bitcoin market ..I'd expect the same here on pow-scrypt and litecoin

If you plan on only getting one and wouldn't be able to pay your bills if litecoin crashed then I would suggest not. However if you want to take a bit more risk then I definitely would. Plug the numbers into a mining calculator. If you had one right now you would be making a lot of money. A lot of money. Of course we expect the difficulty to rise when people get their hands on theirs which will drive profits down. This is where the trust comes in. You have to believe that the price of litecoin will increase enough to makeup for the difficulty increase. This is usually the case (difficulty goes up, price goes up) with other more successful coins like bitcoin so I see no reason litecoin should do any different, especially with everything going on with altcoins and litecoin specifically. Then you could just make the case for buying and holding litecoin if you believe the price is going to rise. However you wouldn't make nearly as much money doing that compared to mining, so I'm opting for the miners.

Then just buy LTC.
Pretty much this. Remember, LTC is going up, and Bitmain knows it. Guess what? They got smart and are actually SELLING the L3+ for 41 LTC (instead of USD). So.......IF LTC goes up.....Heh, you pay more for the machine (so longer ROI), and the wait time, don't forget the wait time.......... I was stupid and didn't correctly do the math before buying my batch.......I realized now that IF I DIDN'T BUY THEM.........I'd actually be richer now (even with the cheaper price-tag per miner)............They gamed the system. No way to beat them, all hail bitmain!
