Hi guys,

Me again! Miner has been dispatched now  Smiley

I am really stuck on what to do? sell or mine. I only have 1 and I can sell now get my ROI and also buy 102 coins, would I be stupid to sell it?

Will it depreciate?

Mining will bring to you a lot of experience, you can use your daily proffits and buy other coins to play with it, accumulate your favorite, and in the worst case you lose your money in a trade,
if you keep your miner, the next day you will have more coins to play with.

But having only one is a high risk if the miner fails, you will end losing all your investment, you can sell now and buy one or two for free once the next batch is available, in that way you play safe.

Both options are good, keep it or selling. (dont sell for cheap  Wink)

Good luck.

they are selling on Ebay for between £4800-5000, i really want to keep but i think the smart decision is to sell and then reinvest money after RIO into coins?

sooo not sure what to do, if the price explodes i will be annoyed, but at the same time may have 100 coins...Sad

isn't it very risky to sell stuff like miners on ebay? With all those buyer protection paragraphs they have?

eBay is very skewed towards buyers and completely screws the sellers. Ive had numerous hassles selling stuff (non-crypto) there before and even had a customer return an empty box for a refund while they kept the product. Seller beware...

I've heard of cases where buyers let the miners run for months during a dispute and then sent them back, or even said they didn't work from start and kept them.

You ain't seen nothing yet. That's after only one small batch has been released. Profit down 35% already.  LTC profit will be down to $300.00 per month by October. I bet those poor bastards that paid $6,000.00 per unit from Amazon sellers are not feeling to good now. 2 years to pay the bastards off now.

In general for scrypt mining, L3+ profitability is practically intact and 2x better than 2-3 months ago... So, don't be too obsessed about the litecoin difficulty increase. Wink This is how it works... it's supposed to be like this, it's going to be like this and it's okay! Even S9 has a very interesting ROI with that insane bitcoin difficulty... Even S9 is way better than almost any traditional banking investments, for example... But on the other hand, you may not think you're going to buy a miner today and you'll never have to work in your life again... Tongue Hehehe It's not supposed to be this way

I checked my UPS account and it seems that APW3++ PSUs was already sent!! Grin But I got no email from Bitmain and its 'unshipped' in the website

How do you track like this if you don't have a tracking number that they give you?

In my UPS Account I see that packages was sent to my address on 7/21... I can see the tracking numbers for all packages there. Update: 10 minutes ago Bitmain sent me the 'shipped email' Wink

I have just received my tracking from FedEx! Yay! Schedule for delivery these few days. At FedEx website, I see the package details total pieces is 1, total weight is 5kg. But I ordered with psu, supposed to be 2 pieces? Now I'm worry if they ship my psu together or not? What is the weight of l3+ miner? Thanks.

5kg for L3+ alone. You may receive the PSU separately.

Will this miner still be profitable if litecoin loses 40% of it's value because Bitcoin will have segwit too making litecoin just another altcoin again?

I've bought in with some groupbuy and now I'm worried. What will happen with other scrypt coins? Maybe they'll even go up because people switch over from litecoin to others, increasing the difficulty and price.

Which is a good scryptcoin to buy and mine?

Yes, in fact - it seems you can make way more by NOT mining litecoin. Check out hash-to-coins.com or multipool.us. They offer automatic profit switching scrypt-coin pools that currently earn way more than mining litecoin directly. It's A LOT more work since you have to manually trade the alt-coins for whichever currency you desire - but it's worth it.

others good multipool options are prohashing.com and nicehash.com

Thanks for the prohashing suggestion! I love that it auto-sells the altcoins and pays you in whatever coin you select (or USD directly through Coinbase).

would somebody be so kind to give me an accurate idea on the return Pro Hashing would make per month as of now?

Hi Just a few questions on the AntMiner L3+.

I have recently got my two L3+ miners and have set them up. How many days would you recommend leaving them on before giving them a break? & How do you solo mine with them?

Thanks!

Pro hashing is super unreliable. They advertise good rates, but in reality your mining on your backup pools 50% of the time.

haha give them a break? these things are designed to run 24/7/365. As long as your chip temps are running under 70c your fine. No point in running solo with only 2 machines...variance in block rewards will be super crazy (i.e. you could get "lucky" and mine 5 blocks in a single week, or 2 blocks in a month).

If you really want too you can point them at my pool in my sig. I was using it to mine segwit blocks a few months ago to help push segwit on Litecoin, but currently don't have my miners on there. You would be "solo" mining on it and all rewards would go to you.

Mining pool hub ( https://miningpoolhub.com/ ) auto-sells altcoins and pays you in whatever coin you choose when you set up auto exchange. It's fees are low compared to many other multipools. You can mine single coins or you can set up an auto switch for any algo. He has 4 decent scrypt coins.

NiceHash has always been reliable choice,

If you don't mind selling coins yourself, then Hash to coins is another good option. It has 0% fees.
