i am convinced you work for terrahash, no schmuck is this dense after getting f***ed by the same.

if i preorder a playstation 4 and one of sony's chip supplier runs away resulting in no delivery, should i forgive sony and not demand a full refund?  avalon is scum, but that's between terrahash and them, customer did not order directly from avalon, terrahash did.

what exactly has terrahash shown so far as investment? an empty room, 1 half working board, a few plastic boxes on the floor, did i miss anything else?

It's not meant to be a direct comparison, it's called an analogy.
It does not matter what the size of the company is.  Taking a customer's money under the guise of a purchase (not an investment, or a purchase where the customer agreed to lose their money if something went wrong, which we did not), failing to deliver a product, and doing anything at all other than providing a 100% refund is the goddamn same no matter who the company is.

I find it funny how Yifu is playing the victim in that thread. Quite amusing.
Are we positive it was Yifu?
The communication seemed out of character for Yifu.
Could some one else be using the account?
It just seemed a little off to me.
But who knows.
 

I think I was the first to suggest his account was hacked, but I think he's just losing his mind under the pressure.


Whoever it was just started sending out batch three refunds. So obviously the account was hacked, it couldn't possibly be Yifu  Grin
ya just checked that out,,,hmmm refunds seem to be flowing at the moment?  lets hope TH gets theirs and we all get ours...But ours is in no way contingent upon that Smiley

Anyone who pays for anything with a credit card can do a charge back if they're not happy with what they got.  That's how it works.  Doesn't matter if you're Sony or a custom hardware company or what.  If you're not happy with it, don't take credit cards.   You don't see BFL taking them, do you?

Can we start placing bets as to when the lack of communications from TH on this topic will start to bug, even the most die hard supporters? I know one of them wouldn't admit it publicly, but many will.

I've seen some great things in other threads that restored my faith in this pre-order world, but I doubt this will be one of those places. Prove me wrong TH. Speak.

Where is Terrahash? They are not responding to emails, tickets, voice call (mail box still not setup).
They are obviously monitoring the forum though.

Let it be known that Terrahash has my chips today. So the two weeks clock starts now.
I need to know what size and spec of fan to buy but I can't find the info as terrahash is not responding to anything.

Looks like someone called TH's bluff.

We are already working on Plan B. Can't reveal anything right now. But will update as soon as we can.


Will the k64 be ready tomorrow? Will you provide a video or some other kind of proof?

You don't know what's happening at Avalon? Neither does anybody else, have you called them on behalf of your customers, because... you have a responsibility to find out?

Perhaps you can't tell us why because you are the worst business person on the fucking planet and had no contingency plan for a disaster like this!

Hey man, people here are trying to work for a solution (TH and us). I understand your criticism but it is counterproductive atm.

Stay here for keeping them on track but do not lose temper please because we are all tense and this can only worsen things. I remember you are out of this - so leave us handle our own business!

An analogy it certainly is, but a shitty one.  And that's my point.  Yes you should be treated the same regardless of the company, but the reality is something different.  My only real argument is that a lot of people on here seem to have unrealistic expectations.  I wouldn't expect Terrahash to be just like Sony from the outset - they don't have the same track record.  If you bought from Terrahash knowing that they were a start up company and you thought to yourself what could possibly go wrong, they'll be as safe a bet as buying from Sony, then you're a fucking idiot.  Telling yourself over and over and over that this is no way to treat customers doesn't get you anywhere, even if you are right.

Yes you have every right to be pissed.  Yes you deserve a refund if you so wish.  I won't deny that, but I wouldn't be expecting all your dreams and desires to come true as far as Terrahash delivering as promised.  And I didn't have that expectation from day one, which is why I never pre-ordered.

You bought an unknown product from an unknown source, and that is nothing more than a gamble in anyone's language.  Buying from Sony is a much safer bet, and that's where the analogy breaks down.

Ummm when we bought it was 8.4 btc for 20 gh   when btc were worth 100
So 4 btc for 10 gh at 120 is more expensive
