I see many people are still holding bitcoin expecting the prices to rise more and more. In between there was a slide of the price marginally, still many traders have bought buy positions considering the dips and will hold those positions as they have seen the similar kind of trend in the past. High rise were seen in the past when it dropped and many were still buying considering the asset value it has generated for its own. Bitcoin is modern day digital gold and people have started treating it as assets and the prices will rise much more in the future as i see the present scenario !!!!!!

What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
They are waiting until the value is high enough for them to sell. Bitcoin supply is limited, and with more demand later on, the price will soar even more. Bitcoin will protect them from inflation and as an investment the return is also good so it's more than a good reason to hold bitcoin. I think the reason make a lot of people want to hold Bitcoin not is the limited supply as your said. Bitcoin is undervalue, it is a new asset and can create a revolution in world's finance and economy. Only the Bitcoin's value still enough to make many people want to hold it for long term. |

people hold bitcoin for long-term investments. because of most people using bitcoin for investment. very profitable invest in bitcoin.
Yes it’s true the only reason is just to use it for investment purpose and I am also doing same it for a long time because one of my friend he was holding it for a long time and then when the price go high he sold out all the coins and invest and his business and now I also doing the same thing I keep it save and I am waiting for a right time when I come to his high price then I will sell it. |

People keep holding their bitcoins because they know for sure the value of bitcoin will recover and go up again. What is happening to bitcoin price that makes all these ups and downs is called market correction. Every time the value of bitcoin reaches the highest level there most be a market correction that tend to drop the value which it might later recover and set the value to the new all-time high. Market correction happens for reasons like negative FUDs and speculations. |

They are holding it for the future. We all know and hope that the price of 1 bitcoin will be at least 10.000$ in next 5 years. Bitcoin is an easy investment and also it is safer than other investments( gambling,trading,even mining) Bitcoin was in many critical situations and everytime the price dropped it grew up again higher than before. It never dropped without going up again. Thats why people hold their bitcoin, because they know the price will everytime increase |

I also love bitcoin. Almost all of us here are into bitcoin because it could give us more income or profit considering its price. Its price continuously goes up and give us enough reason to hold and keep our bitcoins. Bitcoin is my chance to have enough earnings and securing my future. Since knowing bitcoin and saving some of my earnings, I have already gain profit. |

A lot of people (including me) are holding bitcoin because of 1 very good reason: We are pretty sure it will increase in price in long-term.
It might fall a few times, but im sure in the end it will recover and be a good profit.
Since it's supply is limited and the world is performing a change in technological/financial thinking the Blockchain technology will get accepted and more and more people
will get interested in Bitcoin which leads to a far higher Demand of Bitcoin than the Supply.
In the end, we probably have to "cut" Bitcoin by adding a few decimals and going 1/10 or 1/100 of a Satoshi.

I am one of those who believes in bitcoin. The only thing I have with bitcoin at first is to have an extra income and have some financial freedom atleast. Then when the price of bitcoin continuously going up, I realized that I should keep my bitcoins. Hold them until it reached the amount I desired. |

Well, those you are putting there money in Bitcoin they know that the price of Bitcoins will increase and they have firm trust in it, Also they do a deep search and they have eyes on the market everytime then they invest in bitcoins and hold, no matter if the price goes down they do not panic and sell bitcoins instead they keep bitcoins and wait for its price to rise. |

Well, if you are an old member here in this forum, you may not need to ask that kind of question because everyone here would have a lot of experience while holding price. I think we have a different strategy on how to grow the value of our bitcoin, for me, this is the best strategy or technique to increase our bitcoin and to earn more profit. Patience in holding bitcoin gives you a lot. |

As me, although I can not sure the price of Bitcoin will increase its value to 1 million dollar in future or not, but I always spend a little amount of Bitcoin to hold in my desktop wallet. That amount is very small, but if that future become the truth, it still helps me enough to become the rich man in my country  |

People had a trust in bitcoin. Since the second Segwit is going to come on November. So the price of all the Altcoin will reach high value. If it reaches the moon or maximum value, the holders will get huge amount of dollars in his Profit. My suggestion for all the bitcoin user is just hold your bitcoin longer. |

However , the main point is that every users that use bitcoin is a party of the history , one day bitcoin or another coin will be used like any other currency.
