Yeah, it was indeed an issue that was peculiar to me alone, and I think the issue resulted from a bad network, since I always make sure my browsers are up to date, though my Chrome browser had a new update which I was yet to install, my kiwi browser was up to date but the issue still persisted while I tried logging in using the kiwi browser, that shows its not an issue with browser being outdated, but more of a network issue.

Unfortunately, I was not able to place a bet on the match after the issue resolved itself, I just played some random slot games before moving out for the business of the day.

So, if they block your account and confiscate the balance due to this reason, you don't have anything to do. If you do, the result won't be on your side. It's just my assumption. I didn't get what did you mean by the End of the story.

They did not verify your account because your real IP was exposed to them and they did not feel that they need to ask you for KYC. Only you and Stake know what happened. I cannot tell you why they did not ask for a KYC and why they blocked your account. Based on your statement, it doesn't look good enough for you.

What you said is true and accounts that have been registered for a long time are still free from KYC, it's just that there have been several emails sent to old users to complete KYC to be able to get more bonuses because some time ago I got the email message.
But KYC is actually not a problem because Stake.com itself can be trusted so there is little possibility of data leakage from users.
Let's hope nothing changes for accounts that have been registered for a long time because most gamblers still maintain the anonymity they want.

Not really sure what are the current changes, I'm curious about it as well. I tried to find their terms page before update but I cant find the full page of it. There is one archive for it that was made a year ago https://archive.is/7WpO6 but I cant see the whole terms. If we compared to the current one with the one in the archived page, yes there is a big difference but I have no idea when was the last update before the latest update. Maybe it would be nice if Stake inform all their players about the detail part of all the updates on their terms.

May I know what is the contents of that email? because I also made my Stake account a long time ago but didn't receive about increasing KYC for bonuses.
Stake is a big trusted casino here and if it's only to bet a small amount, it's enough to fill in KYC level 1 for a small deposit or withdrawal of a small amount and that's not a problem for me when I want to gamble on a trusted site like Stake.

Did you or did you not read the TOS when you registered?
When you register you acknowledge them, clear and simple.
If somebody did something wrong it's you because you violated their TOS.

There are multi streams where Eddie says using a VPN to access stake is legal on his streams, and streamers he pays like classybeef would promote the same thing. The money that Stake are printing at the moment, will pay for very expensive lawyers ...so if this is going to court, then it is going to be a long drawn out court case. Well, I also fall in the same category, I saw the new terms, I scrolled through it to try to find what's changed, expecting that the new parts of the terms and conditions will be highlighted for easy reference, just for the sake of those who are in a hurry and might not have the time to read everything beginning from afresh again, but unfortunately, stake didn't distinguish the new added terms from the old, so probably, they want all theirs to read the whole terms begining from the first line to the last line again, I believe this is actually good, it's just that this days, we all tend to live a fast life on the internet, majority don't have any time to spare reading long text, 😂 funny but disappointing.

If you read my complaint, you would know the reason this is so important to me is because the government in Australia is asking where these ''Assets'' have gone. So I either have to retrieve them as they have been illegally obtained by stake or if they don't voluntarily give them back which clearly isn't going to happen, i am lodging the legal action in an Australian court against them and the owners of stake as they have obtained property they aren't legally licensed to acquire by having insufficient verification measures, as well as showing negligence in regards to promoting VPN usage.. With all the evidence i have i can guarantee you i am going to be successful. About 95% sure. Using other precedent cases. When the government then realizes what stake is allowing to happen.... then that's going to create much bigger problems.. since there founding business is run out of Melbourne, Australia.

As my lawyer has said the lynchpin of the case will be the illegality of the bets as well as the negligence shown from a verification standpoint and by the owner in promoting VPN usage from an unlicensed jurisdiction. But ultimately the illegality of the issue is the lynchpin and why I will be successful from a legal standpoint.

It is illegal for stake to profit from any jurisdiction it is not licensed to profit from and this is why they should have mandatory KYC verification processes. Which they did not have. Therefore stake have not done everything in their power to assure illegal gambling cannot take place. It's not hard to verify a customer before accepting bets so there is no argument to the contrary. My lawyer has advised they will probably try scare me with a counter defamation case which I am prepared for anyway. I know how this caper works in the court room.

Well, for your information, stake is not the only casino that does not necessarily ask users for kyc verification before the user is allowed to deposit and play, majorly every online casino on this forum only ask kyc from user when the user is withdrawing an amount of money that is over the limit to an amount they accept for non kyced users.

Since I started playing on online casinos from this forum, I've only come across one casino where you are required to submit your kyc verification documents immediately after submitting the registration form and confirming your email address, can't really remember the name of the casino right now, but all the same, majorly every casino do not request kyc verification immediately after registration.
