I didn't see a list of supported exchanges on your site, nor a comparison of versions. Could this be added to help us make a more informed purchase decision? Supported Exchanges: Btc-e Bitstamp CampBX Cex.io Cryptsy Beginner: up to 2 bots running (for example one on btc-e and one on bitstamp) Not all indicators are included. Simple: up to 3 bots running (for example two on btc-e and one on bitstamp ) Not all indicators are included. Advanced: Unlimited bots, all indicators included (for example trade all pairs at btc-e while trading on bitstamp and cryptsy all at the same time)

maybe try to change the buffer size in the server settings.
increased the size of the memory buffer - see what will happen next. after 2 days bot work increasing cpu usage again - above 15% of my i7. I dont care about it, but had not previously been

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but has Mintpal been suggested as an exchange to add? There is a poll on the bottom right hand corner of the website, Mintpal is not on the list but you could vote for "other".

Can someone who has used this bot for a while give a review for me? I'm interested in purchasing it but reading through this thread all I'm seeing is bugs, errors, setup so complicated it's making people "want to puke", and people losing coins which is disappointing. Is this just because the only people who speak up are the ones having problems, or is it just best that I wait and maybe look elsewhere? Granted it does seem like they put a lot of continuous work into it and time into the support, but is it really worth 0.9 btc? And if I do get it should I buy a smaller package, or will I be missing out on vital features by doing so? What indicators are excluded in the beginner & simple packages? All I've found is that some are excluded but not which ones which is unsettling. I'm only looking to trade one coin on one exchange. Trading bots just make me so uneasy, they have the potential to lose everything you've collected in no time flat after you've already dished out a chunk of cash for it..

I think not many users of software which does what they expect it to do are looking up the software in a forum...
A possiblity is to buy the beginners license and see for yourself...

That's a good point, but I'd prefer to get some customer feedback before dropping ~$100 USD on something that might just bug out and never make the money back... Just would make me feel more confidant about buying. It seems really awesome and I want to believe, I'm just a trade-bot skeptic and need some real un-biased reviews first. I think it would help a lot of potential buyers make up their mind, and possibly drive more sales if strategically quoted. Also I'm not buying a $100 package to see if it works when the return policy is as follows sorry :/ Money back I will not honor any request for money back. The simple bot is sold as it is, fully at your own risk. A demo would really be a nice addition for this product and would help drive a significant amount of sales if the bot works. Or even add small timed packages. I'd very happily pay $25 for 24hrs worth of the full version. If I got that and it worked properly It'd be pretty impossible to resist a full purchase.

Well the bot is not without flaws but it's getting better and i got to say that Stephan and his team are really giving their best to quickly respond to user requests and/or problems. They have proven to be trustworthy and are constantly working on the bot. To me this is gold within the crypto community. So far this is the most easy-to-use bot i have tried since you don't need programming skills to make it work. The auto-tune feature is really nice and as far as i know this is the only bot that has something like that. Yet it isn't perfect and we can't know if it will ever be, even though Stephan wrote about further improvements and i really believe him that he's trying, i am just not sure if its possible Still as with all bots it will not just magically make profit for you. It requires a lot of tuning and a lot of knowledge about TA. The propability of finding a feasible strategy with just playing around is quite low and also every strategy needs constant tuning. So far i haven't been able to make this bot profitable but this is due to my own lack of knowledge rather than the bots fault. Once i have finished my master thesis i will seek to gain deeper insight to this ("Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" by John J. Murphy is already lying on the side of my desk). Once i have done so i will report back if i could make the bot profitable if i find the time to do so. Yet still i am happy that i have the bot and make use of it for drop-loss/roof-in purposes while sleeping - makes your sleep much healthier So its up to you if you want to purchase it. It really depends on what you want and how much work you are willing to put in it. Should you decide to buy a licence i would recommend buying the simple or beginner licence as you can still upgrade to a higher licence for the price of the difference as far as i know.

I'm trying this software since 2 days in the simple licence but I have to say it's not easy to understand and configure it. I learn better and better on this software but I have a question about indicators, how many indicators and/or which one to choose for each bots? Is there a specific strategy to follow? Also, I don't know how to read the graph generated in the backtest mode. Can you explain this chart for example ? Also, is there a real improvement to go from simple licence to advanced one? Also Stephan, bravo for your investigation between the software, the replies here and also on your website.

Also, I don't know how to read the graph generated in the backtest mode. Can you explain this chart for example ? When the bot reaches 0 it sends a BUY signal, when the bot reaches 100 it sends a SELL symbol I suggest doing the back test using the "classic" interface instead of the "web" interface. Then you can see these 2 charts and get an idea at what point of the price changes that the bot made an action. I would start here: https://www.haasbot.com/trade-server-help/Read the sections about insurances, saftey and indicators.

The best to to find a good strategy is by getting started properly, and this is the part thats goes wrong a lot of times. A lot of people review the charts of bitcoinwisdom (for example) and try to reproduce this. Of course this is possible, but this is a wrong way to start. The reason why this is wrong is because two things are always overlooked. First the interval speed is always set to low (to fast) and secondly i see a lot of people not taking care of the small (unwanted) movements of the moving averages. Anyway, the best way to learn this software or to find a good strategy is first to forget this and approuch it differently. The most basic and 100% profitable strategy is the Blind Trade Indicator and the Fee Overcome security. This strategy will not give a lot of profit, instead the profits are very minor. But its a solid strategy and it will show you at the most basic level whats possible. I also posted some advice and explanation how this works at this link: http://www.haasbot.com/what-is-the-most-basic-and-profitable-strategy/When you get this basic strategy working then i can recommend to have a look at the drop-loss strategy. This is also a very plain strategy that sells your coins if the prices drop. (like every weekend from friday till monday) This strategy works by simply setting up a trade-bot and adding and configuring a drop-loss Security. The idea behind this strategy is that you learn that the drop-loss can protect you to if the prices suddenly drops. Some details, images and explanation can be found here: https://www.haasbot.com/drop-loss-strategies/Once you understand how those 2 strategies work then it becomes time to advance ahead and combine them. The next step (or alternative step) to learn is to how other trade indicators behave. The easiest way to do this is by starting with the high/low price indicator. In this indicator you can set fixed proces to sell or buy upon. What this indicator will show you is that the set prices are never used, the software tries to get some extra marging inside the trading. Again, its just very small but it there and it shows itself this way. Some advices, images and explanation can be found here: https://www.haasbot.com/basic-strategies/And here the next advice is also a combination of the high/low price indicator and the drop-loss safety. Just to learn and see what happens and how to protect yourself. If you follow these steps then you can create a feeling for the software very fast. It will show the effect of Safeties and Insurances and it uses the most basic trade indicators that most people can understand. Of course the next advice i can give is to advance even more and to use different trading indicators. But to make this work you need to grow first. By this i mean it becomes important that you run a lot of backtests and have a look what the other Securities, Insurances and Trade Indicators can do for you. A good example of this can be found here: https://www.haasbot.com/basic-rsi-strategies/ @All: We are working really hard on the coming update. At the moment we are making progress in supporting spread orders and a lot of new trade indicators are coming in. These trade indicators are designed in cooperation with the university, so you can expect to see some good trade momentum from them. We are expecting this release will be somewhere mid/end next week. BTW Of course we will update all the coins again at the update, we have seen the support of Usd at Cryptsy.

My simple licence will only allow me to run 2 bots.. I thought it was 3?
Paying customers **should** be able to run as many bots as we like on different exchanges for testing surely? The licence should / could perhaps only limit the ones you actually activate... Its a real PITS having to delete / recreate ones to test.
Also since updating to the latest version and having to recreate the bots and enter API keys AGAIN for the miionth time, I cant copy / paste / enter a Cryptsy key... It just wont paste in.
