Hi Everyone! Nice to see plenty of people talk about the future of the platform and not just a quick flip! I know it will be profitable to have work tokens if if you're a trader, but this to me says that the price is gonna skyrocket right away cos nobody wants to sell them, haha

the explanation of this thread is easy to understand and interesting, I see the coin sale information is very attractive with a fairly expensive price with a limited supply of coins for ICO, when will ICO start?

Aworker seems like it is needed, think about how employment agencies treat temps.  Hopefully this will all be a thing of the past when this is launched.

Also one question: in which countries do you work now and in which countries do you plan to work? In which languages? There are a lot of opportunities in China or Russia.

I like this. Takes out the subjectivity on the recruitment industry, who let's face it have a bad reputation, only second to real estate!

Total agree - it's an industry that has had it too easy for too long. They treat people like crap. Time for an honest decentralized change.

So let me get this straight....AWorker will allow you to earn when either looking for a job, or employing someone?

Yes that's correct

I am, I think its a good project in principle however, I feel that at times, they maybe trying to do too much and it may complicate their model uneccessarily. Id like Aworker to stay away from awarding tokens for subjective skills and focus more on those skills that are tangible

It's the same for LinkedIn, but this seems to be a more honest and open approach

I love the idea of a more secure and verified source of referrals. I am exhausted on a daily basis just trying to sort through the fake stories and accomplishments. Its great people can be rewarded and at the same time, help bring verified candidates to the block chain who need a reliable place to search for work.

So in theory, this project will have a better way to verify skills for a job. Will it also allow a person looking for a job to be spotlighted to recruiters? In other-words, what if I possess a skill that is in high demand, but don't want to sift through all the jobs in my field that may be the same old song and dance. Can your project help me only see the most attractive options and ignore the rest? I would like to even see where I as the candidate have the option to know my possible salary in advance and create a competitive atmosphere for my skills. Will this project do that?

Normal recruitment agencies treat you badly so I can't wait for this to become live.
tell me about it, ive had to deal with 3 of them this week alone! absolutely INEPT, had enough of them, aworker literally cannot come about fast enough
This sounds familiar... I have been having to use an unnamed company for about 5 years now and the amount of times they've let me down... per WEEK I can't count on one hand.. its shocking, they dominate the market and they are just taking profits without doing anything in the way of a service, its shocking, aworker is long long long overdue.

Holy crap I feel your pain!!!! I have had so many unqualified candidates apply simply because they can click a mouse button. I actually was told by my "unnamed" recruiting company that "most of those are just people looking to fulfill unemployment requirements". So you mean to tell me, I pay per click and you blame my quality of candidates on unemployment scam artists??? Wow...I could have come through the phone I was so upset. But what other option do I have? I hope this project solves that issue.

What skills do you think they should avoid? Also, don't you think this would dampen the market for unskilled laborers? Nothing against say...McDonalds, but if they want to use this service to hire, maybe they don't create a job for a rocket scientist, but wouldn't they need to search for skills...thus the need to reward those people who do fit that skillset?

I have to agree and when you flip this in reverse it's annoying being someone that has published their CV/resume online and are just waiting around like a potato for someone to contact them. At least this project seems like they have it all worked out with the idea of finding the perfect person for the job which means the employer gets exactly what they are looking for with little to no effort.
