this is a healthy point of view about cryptocurrencies in centralized or decentralized exchanges. It is not about KYC yes, I agree with you. It's just about stupid verification steps even at the end bcs of stupid reason u get not approved or verified and your account get frozen for many weeks or months. And the exchange itself does not need to get hacked, even the owner of the exchange service can runaway with all cryptocurrency in one day like in coinsmarkets.com  where I also leave some coins for stake (over 10 different coins - one of them Tokyo Coin which get listed now in CoinmarketCap)

Right but you shouldn't forget that many so called decentralized exchanges are often not fully decentralized but have some centralized on-ramps or any other centralized functionality where someone could take your money and run. If you have a look at the Bitshares DEX it isn't fully decentralized as it also operates with Openledger gateways.

Yep, I am aware of that, I don't put any exchange in decentralized category just because the team claims that their platform is decentralized, usually I spend lots of to time on figuring out how the platform works if I got interested in a project.

You just got 20 of my merits I hope that more people pay close attention to what they are actually buying. So many dev teams call their tech superior or decentralized or whatever, but in most cases it is BS. A truly decentralized exchange doesn't exist as of to date. One where you can freely trade all cryptos back and forth without much hassle. It just doesn't exist because it is extremely hard to build.

It is very common for the scammers roaming around us because they already know that Velox Project is getting more attetion in the community. So, as I've read here in the thread, there is a scam website that people think it owns by the Velox. This will make other people confused. I hope you will give a thought about this because, in the beginning we all know that because is a legit and a trustworthy project.

You are right, the legit velox devs should make announcements about this so that investors will not be scammed. Velox dev is not that active as I observed now, He must be active to attract many investors.

You are right, but there is no activity of the administrator at all. He does not answer questions. Or they do not want to distribute the project further?

Well, if they will continue to reject our concerns about their projects then maybe they may loose also their reputations. They should at least make an announcements why they are not answering our queries regarding the platform.

Probably they might be busy to handle the problems occuring in the project progress but hopefully they will be soon available to answer each query posted here. We just need to have some patience.

That why i join their telegram group and have a many update and kindly response at here from another members . VLX still busy because they need to prepare VeloxBolt

As i see, this is beta version of Velox exchange and they will closed it when Velox Bolt running, maybe we should have announcement about this problem at ANN thread.

Lets just observe first and wait for other members to give updates regarding this matter. Maybe admin also is already aware of this problem.

Hoping that the admins and devs are really aware of this matter if this site given is a scam one and will be down as soon as possible to stop ruining the platform.

I have used the new exchange is fine. All my coins were moved there withdraw are temp disabled but I did a withdrawal yesterday and it went thru fine.

Good to hear that the Velox Project is progressing better and better giving the community a lot more interesting developments. Sooner or later, if this project will continue to kick its, good outcomes, more investors will eventually and will find it interesting. More investors, the greater success opportunity it will give the community.

Such problems happen often. And there are no reasons for panic, in my opinion. Project is very huge and unlikely designers simply will throw up him. Not for that they began.

You're right, as I encounter those ICO similar on this project. Maybe, they have some special features and advocacy that needs to know compare to other ICO Project. Hoping that all of this issue will be categorized in good way as we need a good answer by the dev.

Busy or not, they must also prioritize answering queries from the community for it gives good image to the project managers. They must hire and train people to represent this project if they really want to gain more investors for this.

I hope the devs explain exactly with details how their platform is going decentralized and diffrent from the others . They need to communicate with people who have concerns about the project to seperate themselves from every other project that clamis to be "decentralized and first of it's kind".

You are right, a lot of false information and promises were delivered by new projects and most of them failed. They just did it to get more investors and after that they run away with a lot of money.

I agree with you, in this stage the dev should answer us or at least made some announcements about the on going project. They recently launch their app but it seems there are some bugs that needs to fixed so I am hoping they already working on that matters.

Yeah! It is really good. That shows how ready the devs are willing to make things faster and better. I really want to believe this is one project that would be successful and will have a huge support. Still trying to come to terms with the decentralized idea of the exchange though, but with what I have seen, I am really looking forward to it.
