I'm using MultiMiner 3.0.3 with BFGminer 4.0 on two Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. A few days ago i got the following error (unhandled exeption):

Has somebody an idea, how to resolve this issue?
There's already a version of MultiMiner that is running but not visible, or other mining processes may also be tying this up. Either reboot or use the Task Manager to kill the rogue MultiMiner.Win.exe and other miners. Hi. Thx. I already rebooted many times since the issue appeared, but this didn't help. I uninstalled MultiMiner and reinstalled it again, but even this didn't help. It seems that MultiMiner isn't communicating any state. Even using the MobileMiner WebApp I can't see my second computer (called 'Pinta'). I tried switching off the firewall. No positive result. Any ideas? |

I also had same problem with mobileminer.
Just register new email with new appkey, works for me.

Ok I will start with the easy one. On MM with the Blade BFG version I am getting very poor performance. Here is my string. --set-device gridseed:@\\.\COM6,\\.\COM7,\\.\COM9,\\.\COM10,\\.\COM19,\\.\COM20:clock=838 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM4,\\.\COM5,\\.\COM22:clock=1185 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM8:clock=890 --set-device gridseed@\\.\COM21:clock=1150 The Blades are running at 838 and each only hits 2.0 mh/s each or lower. On cpuminer same setting they hit 2.8 to 3 mh/s each stable. The three 5 chip units that are set to 1185 run at 255 kh/s on MM. On cpuminer same setting they run 501 to 508 kh/s each stable. The other two 5 chip units one that runs at 1150 and the one that runs at 890 both run at the proper speeds with no issues. 489 and 379 kh/s respectively. I cannot figure out why this is happening. I have messed with it for a day. Does anyone have any input? Thanks |

I'm once again having issues with connecting to suchpool.pw with x11 using SPHSGMINER.
This is the same exact problem I had when running earlier. When running the miner in standalone it almost immediately brings up the pool. However when using MM I have to use another pool for MM to 'failover' into at first before it'll switch back to suchpool. I can launch the miner through MM using process > launch and it wont bring up the pools as fast as standalone, but it will eventually bring them up without another pool to 'jump' it. Process > launch does occasionally have pools go down though and it'll just sit there waiting for suchpool to comeback up, where as standalone will stay connected to the pool.
I know this is a weird bug, but I tested it across multiple machines. It most likely has something to do with suchpool, but there is a difference between how MM, MM process > launch, and sphsgminer standalone deal with pools that don't respond right away, go down, or are sporadic.
Using a failover pool MM will stay connected to suchpool after the initial failover and stays connected.
I'm sure you'd be able to duplicate this yourself by trying to connect to suchpool. Suchpool is quite reliable at the moment as far as stratum stability, so I don't know exactly what's causing this.

Please add support for x13. Also when you first add new coins it lets you choose between scrypt/sha256 even though you later pick the algo again.
Also consider adding support for custom miners (user defines directory and additional parameters).

hey guys i am having problems getting one of my antminers to recognize. i tried manually adding it with no luck either. it is mining and working fine but is not recognized. also when i try to right click and switch to a different pool, the antminer doesnt correspond and continues to mine on the priority pool.

Thx. I already rebooted many times since the issue appeared, but this didn't help. I uninstalled MultiMiner and reinstalled it again, but even this didn't help.
It seems that MultiMiner isn't communicating any state. Even using the MobileMiner WebApp I can't see my second computer (called 'Pinta').
I tried switching off the firewall. No positive result.
In that case you have another application that is listening on the exact same port that MultiMiner uses for Remoting. Disable MultiMiner Remoting in the Perks dialog to fix the issue. If MultiMiner Remoting is something you were running intentionally (some folks just enable things) let me know and I can look into making the ports configurable. I've personally only ever seen that error when MultiMiner crashes and I reopen it (with Remoting enabled). |

Thanks again Dual mining is not supported in either MultiMiner or BFGMiner. Just too much hassle to support for too little demand. Newer devices such as the G-Blade don't support it at all. Supporting it is not trivial and requires running multiple miners at the same time and then using some form of IPC (inter process communication) to pass work between them. That is until BFGMiner (or any miner) is capable of mining multiple blockchains and pools simultaneously. |
