You cant move coins from Cryptsy, because theirs wallet(and on the other exchanges too) does not work.On BTER wallet works ,but they are on the wrong fork.Main problem is that all exchanges refuse to update theirs wallet to 0.9.2.6.

Bter wallet is on the correct fork, I just move 100 QRK from Bter to my wallet.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

If you just want to synchonize your wallet, delete this conf.file from Appdata/Roaming/Quarkcoin folder and then start wallet. You have a  problem because your conf file is set to mine using your CPU(gen=1) and it is set to use all power(all cores) of CPU (gencprolimit=-1).So you cant synchronize your wallet ,because it is draining all your CPU power for mining.

If you look more deeply at some of the recent events, their new verification system, it is possible to understand why cryptsy do not want to update the wallet now. The are a lot of QRK there and alot of people who want to withdraw their coins...

The android wallet was updated on Google Play.  Let me know if that helps.  The app may require a blockchain reset, if that is the case I have another update on its way with updated checkpoints.

Exchanges rise and fall, both big and small...do not store your coins on any exchange for longer than is needed to make your trades.

I think most of traders understand this. But what to suggest to people who want to withdraw their coins, but unable to do this because exchange does not maintain the wallet to keep it on the correct fork?

Only thing you can do when the issue is wallet maintanence mode is to keep hounding them to fix it.

Or convert Quark back to a different currency (ie DOGE) that is working, remove that, send the YYY to exchange#2 (ie BTER) and trade back to QRK, then withdraw QRK.  Since you get hit with multiple fees along the way would only do that if you think Exchange#1 is on the verge of shutting down and you don't want to risk waiting.

I thought about it, it is a good idea if you have some coins but not applicable for large amounts, in this case it will looks like dump and pump or will take more than couple of weeks, maybe more...
