As far as I know, there is nothing for small orders to do at this point except to pay attention.  And prepare to react quickly when something is formally proposed.

I suppose that you can contact the court and ask to receive notice, but I don't believe that makes any difference in your status in the court's view.

I'm a small order too.  We just have to wait.

The one thing I'll say is that if a creditor's committee is formed, it would good for some little guys to be on it, to represent the, say, < $15,000 hobbyist.

How about the 210btc hobbyist... what is this 15,000 you speak of?  Smiley

According this document

http://www.uscourts.gov/uscourts/RulesAndPolicies/rules/BK%20Forms%201210/B_20A_1210.pdf

you are to mail an objection to a motion to the clerk's office.

Mailing address:

Clerk of Court (Mr. Edward Emmons)
P.O. Box 7341
San Francisco, CA 94120-7341

As it seems there is a chance you'd have to attend a hearing in the courtroom (CA) in order to support your motives.

Because I am no US citizen, it might not be such a good idea to file an objection to the limited service motion of notice myself.

So it would be better for someone living nearby CA to file the objection.

Some further info:
http://thismatter.com/money/credit/bankruptcy/motions.htm

PS: I'll try and call the clerk's office myself and ask whether it will be possible to conduct the hearing by phone (judge has to agree on this).

This. We were promised our original bitcoin payments back, and that's what I want. They sent me a check after I refused to cooperate with their refund process and insisted that they honor the TOS I had agreed to. I haven't cashed it and I don't plan on ever doing so. I'm in the process of taking legal action.

I received this in an email:

Quote
HashFast creditors, customers, partners and suppliers,

As you may have seen in the press, on May 9 2014, HashFast had a petition filed against us to move the organization into an involuntary bankruptcy.  We have been hard at work in developing a plan to see how to best serve our customers, supply vendors, and other creditors.

As a result of these actions,  we filed a request to move to a reorganization under Chapter 11 bankruptcy on June 5, 2014 and the courts granted that request on June 7, 2014.  We are in the process of finalizing our plans to best serve our creditors.

Our focus is to reorganize the company in a way that provides added value to our creditors, versus a liquidation scenario that would be of less value. As a part of that reorganization, Eduardo DeCastro has resigned as CEO, and we have reduced the operating team to the core functions necessary to continue operations and to effect our plan.  In the interim Simon Barber is President and CTO, and Monica Hushen, who recently joined as CFO is handling business operations and bankruptcy matters.

HashFast has retained Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP as its bankruptcy counsel, and we will be working together to generate a reorganization plan that will allow us to emerge from bankruptcy as quickly as possible.

We will be sharing more specific information regarding our reorganization efforts over the coming days.

- The HashFast Team

Have not received this email.

I'm a day 1 BJ pre-order still waiting on MPP. Haven't followed this thread on a daily basis but since they have a core team to continue operations (at least until chapter 11) does this mean they are still shipping in limited quantities or has everything stopped at this point?

There is little precedent for the classification of bitcoins as a currency, commodity, commodity money or security. For ease of reference, however, this advisory uses the term “digital asset” to encompass Bitcoin and other digital assets (whether centralized or decentralized), known as “alt-coins.”

You were fucked when HashFast didn't deliver.

They are still sleeping on their assets. Maybe they are building boards with the chip sales instead of using it only to pay lawyers, I hope so.

It's all a conspiracy. So?

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:

So I saw the creditor matrix.

Apparently I'm not in it, so here's another lie from HashFast:

I declare that the attached Creditor Mailing Matrix, consisting of 73 sheets, contains the correct, complete and current
names and addresses of all priority, secured and unsecured creditors listed in debtor's filing and that this matrix conforms with the
Clerk's promulgated requirements

In the meantime I filed my proof of claim electronically:
Case 14-30725 - Claim 3 - Filed 06/11/14

Is there anything additionally I could do to make sure being included in the creditor list?

Maybe I can help with some of the stuff you'd have to fill in. I'm no expert though...

There seem to be a lot of people missing from the list.    You should point out the fact that you are missing to the US Trustee so they are aware of the error and they can decide if the error is on purpose.   EVERYONE LEFT OFF SHOULD DO THIS so that someone qualified (the US Trustee) can figure out if it is incompetence or done on purpose.

Here is the case number in case others use the electronic route.
Hashfast Technolgies, LLC Case NO. 14-30725 (likely only need this one)     and Hashfast LLC Case No. 14-30866

FAX Number for US Trustee:  415 705-3379

ATTN:  Tracy Hope Davis  UNITED STATES TRUSTEE

I would mail it also to:
UNITED STATES TRUSTEE REGION 17
San Francisco Division
235 Pine Street, Suite 700
San Francisco, CA
94104

As a creditor, you can also write a letter to the US Trustee for the case if you have any concerns about any of the top 20 creditors being impartial and if you do not think they should be on the committee that will represent all creditors.
Some of the people on the list of the top 20 creditors are also shareholders in the Delaware company that HF stated "owns all the IP" in the arstechnica article.
Adam Ettinger (of Strategic Counsel Corp) is listed and a shareholder of Hashfast LLC
Sandgate Technologies is listed as a top 20 and Chad Spackman is a shareholder of Hashfast LLC (and I believe shown as an employee on their website).

It might concern some people about whether they will look out for all the creditors since they would appear to have conflicting interests.    Anyone else see conflicts on the list of 20?

Will do. Any chance the Trustee has an email address? Smiley

HR:  It's a public document so it's fine to share it.

Our review finds it full of errors so it would be good to make it available.

Does it include creditors that are still waiting for delivery of the MPP part of their order at all?

Any idea why the cover sheet says it consists of 73 sheets but it it only 39 pages long?
