HF can still sell dev kits, etc to keep the lights on as they wind down.  They are not mining beyond the demo unit, which has a public address.

But once somebody brought in their lawyer and filed for Chapter 7, it became illegal for HF to give us our MPP chips and there was less money for finishing other batches, much less flexibility to restructure and recapitalize.

I started a dialog with parts@ and got a reply from tim@hashfast.com regarding getting the manufacturing files, firmware and sales process.  +1 to know their historical yield on boards as this is a non-starter if the yield is low.

He states:
"Once you purchase Golden Nonce ASICs, you will be provided the manufacturing files (schematic, BOM, and PCB layout files/Gerbers) for the mining board.  The tools and software is already available at https://github.com/hashfast .

Please provide me your address, and phone number and I will get an order confirmation sent to you for the Golden Nonce ASICs along with enough of the 5 hard to find parts to build boards.  Once we have received payment, I will send you the manufacturing files."

Completely useless until when they release the design of their board under public domain. Firmware included. And I wanted to see both the evo and the new half costs version.

Even after that, you would have to add PSU and cooling. $200. And you are being optimistic in your per board cost. $300 is. You could probably reach that price if you had the PCBs for in hand for free. So $300 + $168 + $200 for 650GH. Plus the yield, plus whatever could go wrong since that you will have to deal directly with suppliers. Good luck.

would not even attempt this. Those 5 hard to find parts are in short supply world wide. USB com parts.. They screw you on just one part you will have to find an alternate. Then run a test batch of a couple boards. If it does not work your stuck with having to change other parts on the  board and  then another test batch. Some of those parts are backlogged at manufacturing leval for months and you are out cash. Better off asking Mr. Teal if you could front a chip buy. Also at looking at that thred the boards are not free from problems.

HashFast is late because they promised October and failed.

HashFast promised (and still promises) delivery by Dec 31.

Funny how you disappeared right when HF failed to meet their Dec deadline. Did you think everyone would forget about your HF shilling? You sure picked one big bomb to shill for.

That's probably indicative of Ralph's whole life.

Let's not forget when he came under the guise of Hashfast_CL to peddle their "Yoli Evo" board.

No, they ceased to offer this option few months ago when they were submitted by some companies for chapter 9 bankruptcy

Regardless of the fact that we were pushing for those settlements and the petition didn't stopped them from doing so, they decided to stop the settlements independently, to screw us once more.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:

Anyone else get a call from HF today?

No, were they trying to sell you something?

Edit: For anyone that didn't notice because Hashfast buried it in a blog post that they didn't bother to publicize they listed their current inventory and prices on their website for anyone interested in buying anything.

http://hashfast.com/parts/

so they're holding a garage sale of our goods. Nice, kind of wild-west-esque.

Answer from "Tim":

Dario,

It is my understanding that once HashFast was driven to involuntary bankruptcy on May 9, 2014, as someone who has an unfulfilled order, you became a creditor.  At this time, we are unable to provide you with any type of compensation or credit for your unfulfilled order.  I suggest you to please check with your own legal counsel on this matter.

That said, we can take new orders for our existing inventory listed at www.hashfast.com/parts

Thank you,

--Tim

Answer from Peppermining regarding chips to board assembly:

Dario, its not that simple as just giving us chips, it has to be worth doing another run, for example if you have 10 chips we cant go to our assembly house and have them just do ten, not only that the pcb's need to be ordered and if you want them in under 5 days you pay a high premium for this service compared to if you have time and you can do 2 weeks lead time price drops about 30-40% depending on the pcbs.

So we cant really just give a price unless we have more details such as how many chips (it has be worth it for us to do another run cost wise) and what the lea d time is.  For example long lead parts are pcb's (the they become cheaper as mentioned above), we also have to look at the part supply chain to see if all the other parts are avail to be purchased, and some of those are long lead times or if you buy lets say 100 vs a reel of 1000 your also paying premium so as you can see giving you a price is not that easy based upon the above factors.

Also note while the HF chips become cheaper the board components do not go down in price.  So the board price doesn't change much unless you have long enough time vs rush order which costs everyone quite a bit extra.

I hope you see our dilemma on providing you an answer so if you can provide more details we can and its worth it for us (meaning the order is big enough, the long lead parts are ordered asasp and then the assembly house it lined up and avail for us).

Too bad, maybe it could have been worthwhile

Wrong.  Once the lawyers got involved and filed for Chapter 7, it became illegal for HashFast to provide our MPP whether they wanted to or not.

Remember the temporary restraining order some idiot judge approved with zero due process, enjoining HashFast from moving any Bitcoins?  The bankruptcy filing had the same effect for all HashFast assets, but on a permanent basis.

Everyone looking forward to getting MPP chips from HashFast (myself included) got screwed when some impatient fools decided to kill the golden goose and take all the eggs which surely must be hidden inside.

There is no joke or trolling here, just an apt metaphor.

Were it not for the lawyers taking over, HashFast would be able to give us our MPP.

The heavily burned people are not above reproach, and we are free to evaluate the desirability and efficacy of their actions.  It's entirely possible they made a mistake by forcing the issue prematurely.

FFS, just look at the unworkable fiasco that is the creditor committee.  How is destroying millions in value and giving the rest to lawyers anything but killing the goose for the ephemeral glimmer of a short-term gain?

What is not in dispute is that thanks to Koi's fancy lawyers, HashFast now has ZERO obligation to ship their backorders, much less dole out MPP (which I was supposed to be receiving in spades).

What is not in dispute is that thanks to Koi's fancy lawyers, HashFast now has ZERO obligation to ship their backorders, much less dole out MPP (which I was supposed to be receiving in spades).
You are either a liar or you do not know what you are talking about.   Hashfast was warned for months, this was coming.  If they wanted to "do right by the customers", they would have.   They did not.   Instead, they spent over $20 Million of other people's money and only produced less than $5M worth of product.   Since you were delivered some product and are waiting for "your MPP", it very well may be that YOU OWE THE ESTATE MONEY.   I really hope you have an invoice and can show a payment for it.   Otherwise, I imagine you might have some explaining to do about how you ended up with estate property.
They also entered into deals with LB that benefited themselves at the cost of the creditors.  (read the court record).   It is likely from the testimony that some creditors were materially harmed by LB's insistence as being pushed forward in the delivery queue.   That is called tortuous interference (that is right, there are laws against this).
As for you, and your alleged "victim status", post a paid invoice.  We all know you are lying and you are not a creditor but why don't "you show us all to be fools"?
You cannot.  That is why.   You are a shady, crooked, sad little man that has little to do but harass honest people.
The only people delaying us getting our money back is the CFO Monica and Simon.   One spent her last months "negotiating" a deal to give away the assets to LB (and talking to them about her future employment) and the other is on "vacation" for a month.
The deal was so bad the judge was even shocked (listen to the hearing) and the judge through it out.   Nothing to do with creditors.
Let me say this louder for you.    THE JUDGE THREW THE DEAL OUT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT IN THE INTEREST OF THE CREDITORS.   THE JUDGE.   CAN YOU HEAR ME?
