How can We / I / Us, do to Help? Smiley

Or need any help,

This is what we the open source community is here for, to figure out how to help stop this from happening again and how to work together and flucking epic Smiley

I have some ideas, as I am sure a lot of others here do as well, that could help the system, not be such a tool... Tongue

ACTUALLY call me an asshole but if the hacker didn't get the ctm coins and they truly got lost doesn't that  mean that the volume is lowered making ctm possibly more valuable.

Just a thought but could be the must stupidest.
I am in the same situation having loads of CTM and thought the same for a second.
But that is not important right now. Right now it is important to understand the scale of the damages and get the exchange back to the operation.
If we, users of the exchange can help with that, I am willing to do so.

Cheers,
uki

I agree may people use coinex.pw and I'm in the hole right know because I will have nothing to use to livechains.net to keep hosting my pool. Sad

I am willing to help with any php issues that might prevent hackers.

Though luck, thanks for the update, appreciated. I like the 2fa autentication of cryptsy with sms, don't know how it has resulted to BigVern in security and costs.

I already had a share, well dividends will take more to be. You were my first exchange and pool.

I think that we need to focus in the improvement of security in the bitcoin world, less than promote it as an easy and cheap way to exchange. I think online security is the biggest threat right now, to cryptos, and prevents its growth.

So again, please calm down. We are not doing a runner.

The only way i can see to restore this is to sell more shares at cryptostocks to cover the losses *and to hire a professional security audit team to prevent this from happening again*.
Long story short, we're covering this from our own pockets again.

Thanks
- erundook

I only had 1.02BTC and still had 140k doge in trade selling for 0.00000133 BTC or something like that when you turned off the server on the 16th is every1 who still had coins in the wallet safe or what its ok saying calm down I am worried to hell thats all I had it was only still there because I was waiting for the last of the doge to sell bso I could withdraw the BTC in 1 go now I have nothing  Sad

If the site were still 'beta' and not taking out fees I'd be a bit more lenient.  Taking fees implies a professional operation and therefore a level of expectation on information shouldn't be "just wait".  As a customer I should be informed so as to reduce FUD.  It's CoinEX's responsibility to reduce FUD...not mine to sit in the dark and accept the lack of information.

I hope they'll do okay...I like CoinEX, but my concerns for security are now completely overshadowed by the lack of customer service from a professional operation.  We'll see if/how/when they come back and I'll decide my future based on their actions...

...till then, I'm just a mushroom...

Don't worry everyone. Erundook will have the site back up again very shortly, you can proceed in to making another deposit and having it stolen shortly afterwards.

Can't wait!

Erundook is a hacker, so we all trusted our money in the hands of a hacker?

Erundook,
as I said on an earlier post I like the smooth way Coinex runs and its clean design from a user point of view. I also appreciate the way that deposits and withdrawals process quickly certainly in comparison to Craptsy.

There remains much goodwill towards the site and I believe a lot of people with greater IT skill than I could help you design much higher levels of security in to the system.

For me and others the Crypto community is about not being regulated and not being in the pockets of untrustworthy banksters, regulators and politicians.

The crypto movement needs Coinex to come back up.
We need you not to be a fraud.
After that we all need to work on security so that the press barons can't keep painting a fearful picture of us to the general populous so that adoption is suppressed.

Please shout out for help. You will get it.

I also trade in my head, I just sold 4,000,000 IFC but at a loss, was bullied into selling low from a agressive bot, gawd, their everywhere... the FAQ?

I trade where-ever there is a good deal, where-ever the wind blows for a cheaper price, where everybody knows my name.... dun dun dun *starts to weep*

Hurry the hell up
