someone should put a bounty on this kids head if he doesn't smarten up
No. That comment is out of bounds. Actually it made my day. Finally someone not so spineless like the rest which are happy with what is going on. Is this not how the Chinese handle things. I thought it was.

not sure why you're coming up with "6 hours", as 24 hours passing would not necessarily be the limit for being "the next day".
Example: It is 5:09pm where I live. 30 hours from now would still be "tomorrow".
Do you kids need to learn some basic life skills here?

6 Hours left Until this thread reaches 24hours
will we get our promised news? place your bets everyone!
Timer removed. End time: 2013-08-09+23:31:12 Hmm, apparently loading two versions of that timer doesn't actually work properly...

Think about this scenario:
Millions of 'Avalon' chips are ordered hastily.
Someone within the supply chain thinks 'wtf is so special about these chips?'
A quick google shows the chips purpose, diagrams of how to utilise them and the immense value of the end product they produce.
From this point Yifu has lost control and handed someone a golden egg to either make millions or even worse control the network.
I have dealt with Chinese suppliers and what I'm seeing on Alibaba is concerning.
Regardless of the outcome the lack of any communication seals it for me. Yifu signed into his account some time ago but didn't bother to say anything and left people hanging. People start talking litigation and he appears within hours.... Amazeballs

I kind of doubt it, I mean #1 some of the shipments did go out. So the stuff on Alibaba could be legit buyers who just happened to be in the first batch of chips. Secondly, these intermediary companies - they'd be risking a lot of their reputation if they took a clients chip for any reason. And of course the chips depreciate like crazy. If the chips have actually been sitting in a warehouse somewhere they've probably lost about half of their value (Of course, if it's really true there are 2 million chips out there then that's 200% of the current network - once they come online they automatically take value from eachother) If whoever has these chips isn't selling them, they're going to be worthless pretty soon (when KnC, Labcoin, HashFast, BTCGarden, etc come online) The interesting thing about chip sales is that the more you sell, the less value they hold. BFL is telling all their customers who complain about the difficulty that the reason they diff is going up is because they're shipping units. But if that's true they obviously sold units knowing that just from their other customer orders their clients would never make ROI. If you can keep the diff low while taking orders by delaying, you'll make way more money.

The same is with 2nd gen. They will not make production + R&D costs at current BTC price. So it must sound like "I'm out of business... until the next 10x increase in BTC price."
Exactly. If you run the number on what a gen-2 device would have to be, it has to come in at 2 terahashes at half a watt per gigahas and sell for under $3,000, to roughly break even in March 2014 the way the difficult is going. The problem is breaking even on any device at that point. If you don't have your device pay for itself by the end of this year it probably never will. Gen-2 next year is going to have to be absolutely cutting edge just to be worth making, 28nm and full custom ASIC and even then the profit margin is going to be way down compared to this year. Three times the effort, three times less reward. It's hard to imagine many companies being open to doing that, and the risk for buyers will only be magnified. Uncertainty is getting worse, not better.

My bet is that the announcement is that Yifu has been consulting for the Airline Industry and the Cable Industry to see if it was possible to treat customers worse than they do. He impressed them so much with his POS attitude and ego, that now he has a new contract with the DMV and IRS to teach them how to treat customers with less respect.
Face it guys, Yifu is a douchebag and always will be. All of us that have our Avalons and will never order from him again can say whatever we like. He stole money by mining with the machines WE PAID for.

Be serious, nobody here needs any super news from the guy with a Chinese face and name: just a tracking code for the ones who ordered in the past.
Everything else will be some kind of a promise that will be broken in two weeks!
The phrase 'in two weeks' is copyright by another guy, who is not Chinese BTW.

What can he say we already don't know?
The fact he is getting richer and richer, selling us false promises and dreams? BitSyncom is master of deception.
They did not stand in ANY of their promises and postulates.
